Newquay Street Dancing Workshop

Overview:
Scared to venture out onto the dance floor? Want to learn to dance like a hip-hop star? Then see if you and your team can learn the moves to make your very own dance crew to rival the likes of ‘Flawless’ or ‘Diversity.’
This type of dance can be enjoyed at any age, its all about having a go and having fun.

Street dance covers all dancing styles that have evolved outside of dance studios in everyday spaces such as streets, school yards, raves and nightclubs.
As a relatively new dance style it is becoming increasingly popular; it’s hard to not see street dance in music videos and talent contests.
This type of dance involves a lot of team work, requiring people to work together and build trust with all members of the team.

What type of dance is offered:
The dance class can be tailored to suit the style of street dance you are most interested in or include a range of styles such as Hip-hop and Break Dance.

Why Dance?
Dance classes are a great way to get your team working together, as you move around partners and get to know colleagues through learning dance steps and then assembling your own routine. Dance classes are a great way of letting go, releasing stress as well as building self esteem and confidence. You can be assured your team will have a great time, both men and women. With a choice of lessons and music, there's something for everyone.

All of the dance classes available are suitable for all levels of capability and skill, working as a group no-one will get left behind. Further your dance ability and learn new skills with your team.

Format:
Everyone is greeted on arrival by dance tutors, to start on a fun warm up as a whole team. Get taught the dance steps and then break off into groups to test the moves in making a dance routine. End the class with ‘Showtime’ a chance for each team to present their dance to the others.
