Overview:
Based on the highly successful BBC reality TV show ‘The Apprentice', this topical event will test team work in a fun and unique environment.
Teams will be set a number of challenging and fun business tasks that they have to complete. Each team will have an ‘expert' monitoring their performance and ability to work together as a cohesive unit and will nominate a leader for each task. The tasks are designed to test delegation, trust, communication, time management, team work, negotiation, presentation and leadership skills.
On completion of the challenges the experts will select the winning team. The losing group's team leader will have to nominate 1-2 others from his/her own team that they believed performed poorly during the tasks. All other members will be sent outside while the unlucky ones remain in the boardroom table to defend themselves and avoid being fired!
Of course we won't send you home early in a black cab with a cameraman to record the tears! Instead your team will be docked points from their final score.
This event is ideal as a stand alone activity or can be run after a conference. It can be held at a selection of venues such as conference centres, hotels or at your own office.
The Tasks:

As a team you are given a list of unusual items you have to purchase from the surrounding area. You are given a list of the RRP of all items and a budget of the total RRP of all items. As a team you must locate and negotiate the best price possible for all items and you are not able to pay full price for anything. The team with the most items and least money spent will be crowned the winner.
Calendar Club:

You will have to create a themed brand design and sales plan for your product. The team with the most orders will be declared the winner.

As a team you have to plan the ultimate party. With a set budget you must plan the party of the century from timings, themes and catering to entertainment and table centres. Once completed your team have to nominate a presenter who will have to pitch in front of the expert and other teams to persuade them that your party is the place to be!
On the Box:

Teams will have to present their advertisement in front of the expert and the other teams to be crowned the winner of this challenge.
The Winners:
No ‘apprentices' of Sir Alan Sugar would enjoy success in any other way but pure style! While the losers battle it out in the boardroom, the winners will be taken to a private room for a selection of luxurious treats including:
Champagne and truffles:
A private room set up with champagne and truffles with jazz music playing in the background... sit back and enjoy!
Cocktails and canapés:
