Overview:
This interactive tasting event is a crash course into the world's oldest and most popular alcoholic drink, 'beer'.

Guests will learn, enjoy and celebrate the best of beers, from discovering key ingredients and the brewing process to pouring the perfect head, every time. No tasting would be complete without sampling a variety of beers such as global favourites and most importantly great British Ales!

This is a great option for rewarding teams or entertaining clients, combining education and fun, interactive activities.

Format:
In teams of four, guests taste twelve different beers with a range of tailored games and activities from the traditional to the outlandish.

Overview:
Reward the team by finishing a day at work, a conference or a meeting with a wine and beer tasting event. We developed this interactive event for the world cup - and liked it so much, we've kept it going.

Inspired by different countries coming together to compete in football matches - and we thought why not compete with beers and wines as well!  Did you know that the majority of the countries competing in the World Cup produce tasty wines and scrumptious beers? For example, using the teams of group C of the World Cup: the United States, Slovenia, Algeria and even England, all produce a good selection of wines and beers.

This event gives guests the opportunity to taste a selection of wines and beers from across the globe without leaving the room - what a great way to spend the evening. Come on West Country Cider or English Ales!

Format:
The group will divided into teams. Score goals for your team by winning challenges and going head-to-head against others in a series of different activities, earn extra goals by identifying which beers and wines belong to which countries. The event finishes with a final count of goals with the winning teams crowned champions of the Wine and beer Cup.

Introduction
An interactive game that teaches guests how to taste wine.

Sniff and Smell
Each team has to identify a classic smell associated with the World Cup, explaining what the smell is and how it's related to the tournament, e.g. garlic for France, sausages for the German team.

Talking Tactics
Quick fire quiz round about wines and beers of the world.

Call my bluff
How well do you know your beers? Are you fooled by your competitors in the bluffers round (Call my bluff).

Shoot out
A head-to-head competition to identify which drink comes from which country.

Extra Time
This is the last chance for teams to shine. Football is about speed, strength and skill, but how good is your team at the end of the tasting? Compete against each other to find out who is the fastest corkscrew in the west.

Overview:
Get your team's creative juices flowing with an interactive wine tasting challenge, involving teams competing in a series of marketing-based activities with the objective ‘to create the ultimate wine brand'.

Format:
The event starts with a wine tasting session and a crash course of the industry. Then each team is given a different bottle of wine (plus an extra couple of bottles, as tasting is enjoyable and essential!) where they'll need to assume the roles of a creative marketing department and develop the next top wine. The event concludes with each team presenting their wine and brand idea to a panel of wine experts, where they'll pick a winning team, awarding them with fun prizes.

Activities:
Teams will take part in the following tasks:

Introduction to Wine (20 minutes)
Teams will be given a brief overview on how to taste wine, value wine, and an insight into how wine is marketed (on and off trade).

Marketing Planning (45 minutes)
Each team is given a bottle of wine and a target market - the rest is up to them.

Mood Boards
Teams create mood boards for their wine, taking into consideration the customer/sales channel.

Tasting
They'll need to write tasting notes for the wine.

Identity
Create a brand name and a position in the market for their wine.

Advertising
Come up with an ad to communicate with the target market (e.g. poster, 20sec radio, beermats etc).

Pitching (30 minutes)
Teams present their wine and brand to the group and wine experts. Extra marks awarded for humour and creativity!

Overview:
Enhance your company's next networking evening with wine tasting event, making it a memorable experience for everybody offering a fun platform to network. Suitable for medium or large size groups, this is the perfect way to open a new office or show room, post-conference activity or simply to entertain clients onsite.

The formats of the wine tasting networking events differ to the original team building and bonding options; designed purely to enhance networking events, allowing guests to get involved as much or as little as they wish.  The event encourages guests to mix and mingle throughout the evening providing entertainment and acting as ice breakers, offering plenty of talking points.

Formats:
We offer two different wine tasting networking formats:

Option 1: interactive presentation and tasting
The event starts with an interactive presentation on wine, where guests sample two wines while learning about wine, how to taste and value it. This option is a simple reception-style tasting ideal for after a conference where clients continue to drink the two wines discussed. Wine experts will be on hand throughout the session to answer anyone's questions about wine.

Option 2: interactive presentation, tasting with activity stations
The longer wine networking event also includes the interactive presentation all about wines and tasting. Guests will be given a wine quiz to complete throughout the event where they'll need to visit the experts to get the answers.

Tasting stations will be set up around the room for guests to visit at their leisure. Each station is themed with a wine challenge and fun activity. Guests are invited to take part in the challenges while sipping wine. The event finishes with a revealing and summary of the wines they have been drinking and prizes are given to those who stood out throughout the day. 

Wine experts will be on hand throughout the event to answer any questions about wine.

Overview:
A major wine merchant needs a new wine immediately to turn the company around and save it from closure. The teams need to create a new wine and select appropriate packaging using a range of winemaking equipment with the guidance of an expert.
This event encourages creative thinking and use of everyone’s imagination. The Wine Challenge allows for all members of the team to test their sales and marketing skills whilst creating the perfect wine and packaging to a deadline.

Format:
Lead by the jovial expert, teams will firstly learn the techniques of tasting, learn about grape variety and practice their swirling, gurgling and spitting techniques.
Once armed with new knowledge and resources they can then move onto creating their own wine sensation. The group will be split into teams and each team will compete to win the approval of our wine merchant and take home a case of wine.
The teams will blend wines and create their own packing design from the materials supplied. Budgets must be adhered to but our merchant wants to appeal to a market with a highly developed sense of humour.

At the end of the session each team will present it’s newly blended wine to the judges with guaranteed hilarious results.

Overview
Great Britain is a world beating nation when it comes to drinks, whether it be beer, whisky or wine! This Best of British tasting experience is a celebration of the very best of these drinks and a great way to entertain your group.   Best of British is the perfect way to entertain clients and reward teams, and has been designed with everyone in mind. This event is perfect for novices and seasoned wine drinkers alike - and with alcohol as the focal point, everyone is guaranteed a good time!

Format
Your group will have fun tasting a superb selection of drinks to identify their favourites and learn what makes them the best in the world.   The tastings will include a mixture of blind wines and beers and 1 blind whiskey, and participants will be taught how to "taste" correctly.  The session includes beverage education in the form of quizes and other fun entertainment. This competitive element always adds fun and our special quizzes are designed to tie in with the 2012 London Olympic Games and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Overview
Calling all foodies! Cheese really is a great partner for both white wines and reds and even fizz! We've matched 7 delicious continental and British cheeses with a selection of wines to show you how to pair them together. We bring crackers and grapes to complete the cheeseboard. The wine tasting will be interactive & fun with a range of white, red, sparkling and dessert wines each matched with a cheese. We start with an introduction on how to taste wine and include several wine challenges and a quiz to keep guests entertained and engaged. To add a competitive element, teams can score points against each other and we’ll announce the winners at the end of the tasting with an optional prize-giving.
