LEEDS CRYSTAL CHALLENGE
Based around the popular 90s game show ‘The Crystal Maze', this is the ultimate team building experience requiring teams to strategically work together in various zones to earn crystals. Can your team make it into the Crystal Dome?
The event is run by an experienced host, who'll don the traditional leopard skin coat and coordinate the activities. Throughout the day, teams rotate around three different types of challenges, probing each contestants mental, skill based and physical attributes. Riddles, anagrams and cryptic clues will guide teams to their next zone and another exciting challenge. If teams complete tasks "before the sands of time runs out" they will receive a crystal. Teams will eventually be brought together to see who has won the most crystals and therefore enters the Crystal Dome!
The Individual Zones and Games of the Maze:
Mirroring the famous television show, the Crystal Challenge is divided into four separate zones, each of which is set in different periods of time and space. These include the following: -
• The Aztec Zone
• The Futuristic Zone
• The Medieval Zone
• The Industrial Zone
Before competing in one of these specific zones, however, the teams will face off and test their mettle in a predetermined challenge that separates the men from the boys! The individual games are classed as either: -
• Physical (tests of speed, power and strength)
• Mental (tests of intelligence, literacy and numeracy)
• Skill (tests of dexterity, precision and aptitude)
Once your team member is committed to a game, they must stand alone and compete against their opponent to see who can gain the crystal first. The team with the most crystals then advances to pit their wits against the might of the Crystal Dome.
The Finale: Enter the Crystal Dome:
The winning teams will do battle in the finale event, taking it in turns to enter the Crystal Dome and collect as many gold tickets as possible. The amount of time each team has in the dome is relative to the amount of the crystals they have collected during the day.
