Professional Footballers Association

What they wanted
2007 marked the centenary of the PFA and to mark this, they wished to run a series of events for both their members and partners. Having undertaken several golf and football related events, they were looking to do something “different”, but that would still get the competitive spirits flowing. They also required a hotel venue in Central England, as attendees would be traveling from all parts of the country.

What Did We Organise
After a series of meeting with representatives of the PFA we put together a structured, team based multi activity day, incorporating quad bikes, rage buggies, hovercrafts, blindfold 4x4 driving, clay pigeon shooting and archery. The venue chosen was Dunchurch Park, in Rugby. As well as organising the venue, activities & catering, we also arranged pre & post event accommodation for the delegates.

What Did They Think of It
Comments at the end of the day included,

“I’ve had a fantastic day out. It’s given me the chance to try out some activities I’ve never had the chance to do”

“I’ve never really enjoyed the golf events because I can’t hit the damn ball straight. This event has given me the chance to show off some skills I didn’t know I had”

“This has been a fun day out with great activities and great people”

“I’ve been on many corporate events and this is the best I’ve ever been on”
