Client Brief
Manchester based law firm, Gregory Abrams Davidson LLP, enquired to Chillisauce
about holding a hospitality event for clients and senior management. It was
their third year of holding this event, in previous years they had been to France
and London sampling top restaurants and sailing yachts. The groups’ demographic
was mid 50’s, all male and their only request was, no Golf!
Our Thinking
Chillisauce suggested several short travel time options, with our recommended
destination as Scotland; to enjoy luxurious Scottish fare and typical activities.
Chillisauce secured the 5* venue Gleneagles to start the event and created a
day of activities to entertain and wow the group.
The Finer Details
In the morning the group flew into Edinburgh airport where they were met by
the on-site event team who were on hand to ensure the smooth running of the
event and to ensure any additional requests would be accommodated. The remainder
of the event ran as follows:
Helicopter to Perthshire, landing at Gleneagles Hotel
Meet & Greet at Gleneagles Hotel
Breakfast in The Strathearn Restaurant
Transfer in 2 BMW 4x4 Vehicles (approx. 5 minute transfer)
Exclusive Trout Fishing at Fordoun Loch
Gourmet Scottish Loch Side Lunch
Transfer by Helicopter to Fyvie Castle – Private tour and afternoon tea
Helicopter transfer to the Glenfiddich distillery
Private Whisky Tour & Tasting – presented with personalised Whisky
Return helicopter flight to Aberdeen Airport
Client Feedback
“After months of planning, we pulled off the best day
ever...and you made it happen. From our greeting at Aberdeen Airport to the
welcoming arrival at Gleneagles to the first class Scottish Breakfast, with
service to match and then the rest of our sun blessed day.
Being met on our arrival by helicopter and waved off at each part of our whistle-stop
tour was so memorable.
Stewart was fantastic and took care of us from our arrival at the hotel. Archie
and Jock who guided us in the sport of Fly Fishing were superb, two to each
boat in our own private Loch followed by a mouthwatering lunch of fresh trout
for some and venison for others. This was complimented by fine wine and all
cooked and served by our two delightful hostesses.
Taking off again, we experienced perfect blue skies, stunning scenery, which
was the backdrop for our arrival at Fyvie Castle. Again we were met and greeted
and were given a private tour of one of the finest Treasures of the National Trust
for Scotland. Tea and fresh sandwiches and scones rounded off this most pleasant
part of our trip.
We again took to the skies, waved off by our hosts at Fyvie to head for Dufftown.
The whisky tour and tasting with Bert Macor was enjoyed by all. Our pilot deserves
a special thanks for a smooth journey and safely getting us there and back.
Looking forward to the next time."
