Edinburgh Multi Activity Day in Scotland (Half Day)
Overview:
Reward your team with a fun filled day out of the office! The multi activity day combines the best of motorised and shooting activities that will ensure guests have a great day with a little something for everyone.
This event takes place in Kirknewton village on the edge of Edinburgh - just ten miles from the city centre. Set in the stunning parkland of Kirknewton Estate at a purpose built clay shooting ground, high ropes course, 4x4 track, archery range and quad trail, all within close proximity of each other.
Format:
Your group will be divided into teams and rotate around a selection of activities. The event concludes with a presentation where fun prizes are awarded to the winning teams.
Activities:
For groups up to 18 choose three activities, for groups of 18 or more choose four activities of the following list:
4x4 Offroad
Navigate around a 4x4 track, designed to introduce drivers to the skill of negotiating a variety of terrains including steep ascents, descents and traverses. Mud holes and river rides make this track a must for aspiring offroaders.
Blindfold Driving
Drive around the course, against the clock, wearing a blindfold! Don’t worry – team mates will be in the car with you, directing.
Clay Pigeon Shooting
This activity takes place on the purpose build Clay Shooting range at the site which incorporates four professionally built “butts” offering incoming, driven or crossing birds. Hitting a clay and seeing it “burst” in the sky guarantees a real buzz!
Archery
The Archery Range is built to a high spec offering a variety of targets and distances encouraging natural progression and achievement. Hugely satisfying skill to develop with a “thwack” of the arrow hitting the bull.
Quad Safari
Using a fleet of modern Yamaha Grizzly quads, these bikes are easily mastered and great fun. You will go on Safari following the instructor exploring the park and woodland with a wide variety of obstacles to cross.
High Ropes Course
The MadMax high ropes course can be used as a single activity session or as part of a MAD (multi activity day) session. Crate climb, leap of faith, Jacob’s ladder and death slide will all get the adrenaline pumping.
Highland Games
Combining lots of fun activities such as caber toss, putt the stane, haggis hurling, farmer’s dash and much more!
Included:
• Activities and equipment

Really good fun - the weather gods were good for us too. 4x4 drivers were very knowlegable (although lacked banter!) but that was made up for by the Highland games runners - hilariously bad at all the events. The only problem with the event was the minibus - it picked us up on time but didnt come back till 1pm (event finished at 12). The driver had been given the wroing time and had another pickup arranged. However, it gave us time to chill in the sun, and he did take us to KFC back in Edinburgh!

We had an on time pick up. The venue was excellent and the staff were good crack. I thought we would be sharing the venue with other groups, but we didnt which made the day feel more personal. The activities were great fun also.
