Overview:
This is an absolutely brilliant day, set in stunning countryside on the south coast. The events are run by one of our favourite suppliers, who really try to provide a day with a difference and leave a smile on everyone's faces at the end of the day. The feedback we get from people that have been on these events is nothing but superb, so we can whole-heartedly recommend this as a superb day.
To build your perfect package, simply pick any three events ( or any 2 if you include the Bo-Cart grand prix) from Bo-Cart grand prix, quad biking, airsoft military games, off road 4x4 and blindfold driving, laser clay shooting and archery. The quads are the flagship activity here so we recommend those strongly, airsoft is great fun and something different, whilst blindfold driving is always a massive laugh for everyone.

Bo Cart Grand Prix:
This is one of the best off-road karting events in the country - in terms of kart specification, track length, race format and driving time/distance per person it is an all round winner. You will be driving top of the range racing petrol Bo carts - hand built in Europe and designed to withstand the toughest of challenges. You'll compete in an off road grand prix style event.
The Bo Carts:
These karts were recently featured in a ‘Top Gear' magazine article written by Jeremy Clarkson. This sums up his impression and is a direct quote from the article: ‘Without wishing to sound completely spoiled, I've got a Ferrari in the garage and yet, give me the choice this afternoon of going for a blast in that, or going for a spin on the Hoover-powered bedspring and there's no contest. The BoCart wins every time.' Need we say more?
Spec:-
- Top of the range petrol go-kart powered by a 13hp Honda GX390 OHV 4-stroke engine, front and rear suspension, torque converter, disc brakes, ATV type tyres, and a 3 point safety harness.

If the Bo-Carts are booked out you'll use Spider Buggies as an alternative. These karts are light weight, high performance machines with a 150cc 4 stroke engine and full saftey harness.
Format:
Each driver competes in 4 races of 4 laps each (first lap is a warm up lap - needed for our insurance). Up to 4 drivers compete on the track for each race with a staggered start, each driver receives points for how quickly they reached their finish point. At the end of the event the drivers with best score (plus the stag/hen) compete in a Grand Final. To round the event off there is a medal ceremony with a podium, champagne, laurel reef and a photo.
The Track:
Set in a huge field, this grass and dirt undulating track is 500 metres and has plenty of bends that test your handling of ‘back end drift'.
Duration:
- Depending on numbers you should allow around 2.5 hours for either event.
Availability:
- Due to a limited number of Bo Carts there is limited availability from time to time. Please ask us at time of booking.

Quad Bike Trek:
We have been on quad treks all across the country, and can certify that this is definitely one of the best. Over the course of the event the staff will constantly assess your ability and adjust the course so that your limits are constantly tested, while at the same time ensuring you are totally safe.
Quad Bike Format:
After an initial briefing you will be taken out onto the 2 tier training course - open courses set in 8 acres of grassland - to practise your skills. Once you are familiar with the bikes, you will be taken into 90 acres of dense woodland, with miles of twisting tracks, ravines, gullies, slopes and streams. There is always a mechanic on site to deal with any problem that may arise with the bikes.
Quad Bikes:
The bikes you will use are brand new Quantum ZX 150cc bikes, the top of the market bikes for trekking. These are powerful, nimble and ideal for testing and tricky courses. They will also top out at 55mph on the flat.
The Course/Trek:
You will be taken into dense woodland, with miles of track so large you will never cover the same track twice. The woodland is also hilly, so you will end up negotiating tracks between trees and steep slopes. There are various ponds and even a stream.
Duration:
Allow around 1 - 1.5 hours
---------------------------------
Airsoft Military Games:
Airsoft is a spin-off from paintball, which uses rapid fire (800 rounds per minute!) realistic M16 assault rifles that can be set to single shot, semi or fully automatic modes. The guns are extremely accurate, and to be honest we have no idea why it's called 'Airsoft': it feels like you've been stung by a bee when you're hit and when you have over ten shots a second fired at you, you do not want to hang around! Games are played in a similar way to paintball: you will be split into platoons and fight each other for specific objects, or attack and defend. For anyone worried about it hurting, then a bit of extra padding is all that is needed to take out most of the sting.
Format:
Your realistic battle scenarios will include ‘Fort Frenzy', D-day Landing, the Swamp Medieval Tower and more! There are numerous game formats, all similar to paintball. The scenarios are set in dense woodland, with a large number of excellent props such as towers and forts, along with natural obstacles such as streams and ravines! Unlike paintball, which can leave large bruises, Airsoft weapons fire 6mm plastic biodegradable balls with a range of up to 60 metres which, although they do sting, don't leave a large bruise.
Included:
- 500 rounds of ammo included (most people will use this quite quickly - a £10 per hour supplement can be paid on the day for unlimited ammo)
- All training and instruction
- Gun hire of M16 assault rifle
- Camouflage clothing
- Protective mask, helmet and gloves
Duration:
Allow up to 2 hours
--------------------------------
4x4 Blindfold Driving:
This event is a scored 'blindfold' event where you have to negotiate obstacles without sight and only your friends to guide you.
There are two courses for you to tackle: a purpose built slalom course with a ‘log roll', water splash, s-bend and even a garage into which you have to reverse. All of this sounds easy until you have to face it with a blindfold on! And it's doubly fun when your mates in the back have to navigate you around without using such words as 'left', 'right', 'forward' and 'back'! The best team within the group gets a prize.
Duration:
Allow approximately 1 hour
--------------------------------
Archery:
Archery doesn't score highly in the glamour stakes, but when it comes to fun factor it's close to the top of the list. It's always great to get some friendly rivalry going amongst your group and you'll be able to shoot until your arm falls off... not literally, but you be able to shoot plenty of arrows. Top shot gets the bragging rights, worst shot gets the beers in.
Duration:
Allow approximately half an hour.
--------------------------------
Laser Clays:
This is like clay pigeon shooting, but using a laser system (as opposed to bullets) which allows 5 people to compete against the same target at the same time. The guns are all modified 12 bore guns that shoot laser beams at the clays; they are even luminous so you can carry on in the dark!!
There can be 5 shooters at one time who will know if they have hit the target as the speaker system makes a hit noise and you will see both yours and your competitors' scores on a digital scoreboard.
Prizes will be awarded at the end of the day for 'Shoot of the Day'... The worst score gets a voucher for the opticians!
Duration:
Allow approximately 1 hour
