Overview:
There's nothing quite like a bit of head-to-head rivalry with your mates. They say that nice guys come last, so the question is: do you have the competitive instinct and controlled aggression needed to finish first? Or are you happy to look down the tailpipe of your pal as he passes the chequered flag?

The Circuit:
This snaking 1150m monster is challenging, wet or dry. It demands respect through the turning sections if you are to keep you lap times low, but  the best drivers hit back with productive use of the throttle when laying down the power coming into the straights. Be careful though: uncontrolled 360s into the tyre barriers are embarrassing and destroy your chances of spraying bubbly at the end of the day.

The Karts:
The boys in the pits have just taken delivery of a brand new fleet of 390 cc Eglem Thunderkarts, one of the most advanced general usage kart available. It is one of the few circuits in the UK running these awesome 70mph animals as standard and they are kept in top condition to ensure even racing.

The Racing – Grand Prix:
After a quick video and safety briefing, each driver will go out onto the circuit for a practice session. During this time the computer will monitor lap times which will determine the start position for the main race. After a short break you're back out on to the circuit for a 30 minute non-stop grand prix. Concentration and consistency are the key to victory and the chequered flag falls just as your shoulders begin to ache. Once your heart rate has settled down, the race results are announced. The winner receives a well deserved trophy and there will also be a special prize for the fastest lap during the race.

- Duration is 1.5 hours including briefings and practice
- Groups of more than 20 will do an endurance race

The Karts:
Twin engine pro karts with two 200cc engines. These are a level above you average indoor karting and are capable of top speed of over 65mph.

The Track:
At over 1.3km in length, this outdoor track is both the longest and fastest in the UK. Use by the National Pro-Karting the track is recognised by professional drivers as one of the most demanding in the country. The fully floodlit track features banked corners and extremely long straights, which allows for high average speeds. Each lap takes approximately 1 minute for an average driver to complete.

Race Overview:
Once booked, you will be required for signing on at the agreed time & after the drivers briefing we'll get underway with a 10 lap practice session. You will then undertake two 10 minute races, starting from opposite ends of the grid for each race.

Win at all Costs
Since stag dos evolved from a ‘quiet one' at the pub with Dad, your brothers and old Uncle Cecil, go kart racing has been at the forefront of the day's entertainment. And for good reason too: it's top value for money and, regardless of how many times you have done it, everybody has a brilliant time.

The Track & Race Format
This is the largest indoor track in the North East and comprises over 400 meters of chicanes, hairpins, bends and straights with a newly added flyover adding to the excitement. Electronic lap timing keeps everybody up to speed with the placings so you know who you need to close out on the corners and who will be soft enough to let you take them down the straight.

Team Endurance Race
This superb tailor-made non-exclusive Le Mans style team endurance event includes a running start, full race commentary, on track interviews, pit stops, driver changes and fuel stops. The emphasis is on fun. Of course there are going to be winners, but we can assure you there are no losers.  To round off the session a selection of trophies are presented and a bottle of bubbly is given to the winners.
