Shooting takes place in teams of up to six and each team will have an instructor who will brief everyone about gun safety and the basic principles of clay shooting. The instructors are experts at getting novices to start 'dusting' the clays and low recoil cartridges are used for novices so that at the end of the day only memories, and not bruises, remain.
