Overview:
Get armed and dangerous with a 12 bore shot gun at one of Yorkshire's top clay shooting grounds. Clay pigeon shooting used to be preserve of the chattering classes, but you don't need a country estate and hereditary peerage to enjoy blasting the imitation birds out the sky.
A professional instructor will take you under his wing and pass on top tips which will hopefully turn you from a novice to a hot shot in no time. After familiarising yourself with the gun and having a few practice shots you'll go head to head against your friends shooting at clays which simulate the movements of different animals including diving ducks, bounding rabbits and cross flying pigeons.
With a bottle of wine up for grabs for the top marksman/woman, expect competition to be fierce. If you're towards the top of the leaderboard and vying for glory, some well placed sledges when your biggest rivals are on stands should crank up the competitive level a notch or two!
