Overview:
Clay pigeon shooting was once the preserve of the chinless upper classes, but you don't need a double-barrelled name and country estate to enjoy a session on the shooting range.

The expert instructors are superb at dealing with novice shooters and will hopefully have you blasting the clays out of the sky like a pro in no time. As you get more confident you will move on to harder and more varied traps. You will all have 15 clays to get used to the intricacies before embarking on a 10 clay competition to decide who gets the drinks in after the event.

(Tip for the organiser: it's all about steady hands and a well timed bit of sledging can make all the difference. Bear in mind though that the person you're sledging does have a gun in their hand.)
