Event Overview:
This is a superb event for anyone looking to try their hand at a mix of countryside shooting sports set in some stunning surroundings. You will be coached by professional instructors in the three displines before taking part in competition events to sort out the men from the boys.

Clay Pigeon Shooting:
Clay shooting is at the heart of the day's event and all the fully qualified instructors cater for anyone from the complete beginner to the advanced shot. You will shoot a variety of traps which similate different types of game from bounding rabbits, through to diving duck and driven pheasant. The event starts with some practice shots to get your eye in, before developing into a full on competition (For the competitive minded amongst you remember that a well time sledging from behind directed at your nearest rival can have a big scoreboard impact at the end of the day!).

Air Rifle Target Shooting:
This is a quieter, more relaxed event. Nonetheless it is very easy to become competitive and pull together teams to outpoint the opposition. Try air rifle snooker - hit the red and choose a colour. Or shoot the knock-down targets.

Archery:
We shoot over a short distance using lightweight, recurve bows suitable for all abilities. Each person receives full instruction in the use of the bow prior to their initial practice. Finish with a competition to decide the individual winner and the winning team.

Each person will shoot approximately 50 clays, although the exact number depends on group size and ability.
