Quintessentially English near Chester

Quintessentially English

Overview:
I say old chap, it's Pimm's o'Clock! Spend a day relaxing in beautiful surroundings in the heart of the English countryside. This event is ideal for those who require a laid back approach to the day as opposed to a range of fast-paced activities.

If you're looking to entertain clients, get different departments interacting or simply would like a chilled out day for your team, this traditionally English garden party is perfect for keeping everyone entertained without being too exhausting!

In their teams everyone will get to try their hand at croquet, badminton, garden bowls and a range of giant games including draughts and Jenga.

Croquet
A quintessentially English activity, croquet can be played on manicured lawns while basking in the sun (hopefully)! This game demands some skill and can really get individual's competitive spirit going.

Badminton
A universally loved game and perfect for a summer gathering. Take on your opponents in mixed doubles or compete individually to gain points for your team.

Lawn Bowls
This is not just for the over seventies! Can you and your team beat off the competition by getting closest to the jack? Bowls is a brilliant Summer game that requires patience and skill. Wearing white clothing is optional.

Giant Chess
Take the traditional ‘thinking persons game, increase the size, speed it up and add two or three extra people on each side... and you then have ‘Speed Chess'. This game follows similar rules to the traditional game, but each player has only 15 seconds to make their move before the opposition takes their turn. To win, you will need to be a quick thinker as well as possess nerves of steel.

Giant Draughts
The old English favourite - pitting your wits against each other and using strategic thinking to come out on top. Great for spurring up healthy competition between the teams.

Giant Connect 4
Everyone remembers playing this as a child, but maybe not on quite the same scale. This giant version of the popular eighties game will keep your guests entertained for hours.

Giant Jenga
Incredibly addictive and not as easy as it looks after a couple of glasses of Pimms!

Snakes and Ladders
A giant version of the popular children's game. Several people from each team can play this at once and all members have to reach the end to win, therefore it's anyone's game until they've all passed the finish line.

Twister
Hilarious 80's game that is guaranteed to help colleagues get to know each other better!
