CHESTER PUB OLYMPICS
Overview
While the term ‘Pub Olympics’ may appear to be something of a contradiction, we have combined the principles of these two fine institutions to create the ultimate evening event. Ideally a team building exercise, it can be operated as either a competitive event or one that is conducted in a more relaxed, unstructured format. Participate in a host of indoor activities and enjoy a fun filled, carefree evening!
Format
The evening starts by forming teams, whether these include internal staff members of a mixture of employees and clients. Then stand back and watch as they rotate between activities and compete to variable degrees in the quest for fun, excitement and bragging rights! Whether you are in a traditional public house or an alternative indoor location, you can make the event whatever you want to be and enjoy a genuinely fulfilling experience.
The Activities and Games
With this in mind, our Pub Olympics event is the ideal way to reward your staff and forge deeper client relationships. The following games can also be incorporated into your individual event: -
• Air Hockey: A game that has stood the test of time, air hockey forms the pillar of our evenings entertainment and is sure to bring out your competitive side.
• Giant Jenga: Although not typically associated as being a pub game, it can be played at any indoor arena where wind is not a factor! Test your nerve and hand - eye coordination as you compete with your contemporaries!
• Darts: The ultimate pub sport, darts is a surprisingly skilful and dexterous past time. Will you hit the bullseye or fail to prick the felt of the board?
• Table Football: Once considered as a sophisticated version of Subbuteo, table top football has retained its appeal despite the emergence of games consoles. Pit your wits against fellow participants and try to avoid scoring a very public own goal!
