Overview:
Reward your team with a fun filled multi activity day at a purpose built activity venue in Essex!

This multi activity day combines a range of activities from motorised and shooting to water-based and team building events, offering a little something for everyone - and the best part is you can choose the activities you do!

This event takes place at a unique venue spread across 130 acres of stunning Essex countryside, surrounded by lakes, fresh air and exciting activities.  Located in Upminster, 30 minutes drive from Chelmsford and just a 30 minute train ride from Central London. 

Conference requirements and team building activities all in one place...
The venue offers a classroom style meeting room for off-site team meeting before the activities with a capacity of up to 35 people (available at an additional cost).

Format:
The format of the day varies depending on the size of the group. Typically, on arrival the group will be greeted by the Event Manager, who will give everybody a briefing of the day and divide the group into teams. Throughout the day teams rotate around the selected activities. If you would like to make this a competitive day, teams can be scored for each activity and the event can conclude with fun prizes for the winning teams (prizes available at an additional cost).

Activities:
For a full day event please choose four activities from the list below or for a half day event please pick two:

Motorised Activities (FUN): (available at an additional cost)
4x4 Driving
Learn to drive in a dual control Daihatsu Four tracks while experiencing the challenges of the off road course. Teams will be accompanied by an instructor who will set progressive challenges.

Argocats (recommended)
This mighty 8 wheeler will truly go anywhere.

Shooting Activities (COMPETITIVE AND LEARN A SKILL)
Archery (recommended)
Shoot for gold on the outdoor range. Games and competitions make this a great fun activity for all ages and abilities.

Rifle Shooting
Sharp shooting with 0.177 calibre air rifles. It sounds very simple but this is a remarkably absorbing activity that requires self-discipline and patience to do well.

Team Building Activities (WORKING TOGETHER AND PROBLEM SOLVING):
Team Challenge (recommended)
Can your team complete challenges like "Wood henge", "4 way cross over" and the"8 foot wall?" Your facilitator will be on hand to offer guidance and tips.

Tunnel
Yes, It’s dark, it’s damp and it’s a tight fit. But you feel great when you have been through. If you get lonely there is room for your colleagues to join you inside.

Activities In The Sky (CHALLENGING AND CONFIDENCE BUILDING):
Climbing
Providing Rock Climbing Challenge and fun for all skill levels. The outdoor climbing wall stands 11 metres high with overhangs and pinnacles for a realistic rock feel. For entry level climbing there is an innovative 13 metre 6 sided climbing tower with graded climbs using bolt on holds.

Abseiling
Teams test their nerve as they descend a face of our 13 metre Tower. The instructor controls a safety rope so all you have to worry about is enjoying the view on the way down.

High ropes aerial walkway
Do you think that you can walk across a plank and jump a 2 foot gap with confidence? Try these and other challenges at a height of 4 or 8 metres off the ground! An excellent harness system gives you freedom of movement whilst ensuring that you remain in complete safety.

Crate Stack (recommended)
A great team game. Build the highest tower possible with 2 people stood on the top until it falls over. A true test of balance, coordination and team work ...and fun!

Jacob's ladder
Can your team make it to the top? You'll need your team mates to help climb the ladder with increasing gaps between rungs.

Zip wire (recommended)
The next step from the High ropes tower, a challenging aerial walkway leads to the 80metre zip down from the top of the hill, fantastic!


Water-Based Activities (CHALLENGING):
Bell Boating
A twin hulled open canoe that looks much like a catamaran hull. Seating 10 paddlers at a time the bell boat offers an excellent stable platform for enjoyable safe paddling but with mad racing and fun potential.

Kayaking
The ever popular water sport that need not end in a good soaking.

Open Canoeing
Open Canoes are ideal for groups of mixed age and ability. With two paddlers to a boat they are easy to get in and out of and are more stable than a kayak. The challenge is for front and back paddlers to work together.

Wobbly Boarding
Wobbly Boarding is an excellent introduction to the balancing skills required for windsurfing, and is very popular with people who enjoy games that involve water.

Raft Building (recommended)
Build it, paddle it. . Sink it? Instructors will be on hand to advise on building. An excellent team event and always popular.

Head-To-Head (COMPETITIVE):
Fencing  (recommended in Winter)
Learn the ancient art of sword fighting. Can you outwit your opponent to score a hit?

Duration:
This option is available as a full day (approx 6 hours) or half day (approx 3 hours) event. Activities last 90 minutes.

Individual team members must abseil down the side of a tower. An exciting activity with individuals controlling the speed of their own descent. Safety is provided using an independent safety line controlled by an instructor, which can be used to stop the descent at any time.
