Overview:
Think you know your 'Mean Streets' better than Scorsese? Think you could do a better New York 'Taxi Driver' than De Niro? Or would you just like to sit behind a camera, scream 'cut!' at the top of your lungs at everyone in sight while having extraordinarily good looking people vie for your undivided attention? Well we can offer your group the exclusive chance to experience behind the scenes movie-making and have the chance to cut your own versions of a classic film scene, all while creating a totally unique team building experience. 

Format:  
A host will meet and greet your group at a suitable venue. Your group will divide into teams and each team will have all the necessary equipment to produce a movie scene. Each team must assign a director, camera operator, props manager, wardrobe manager, film star and extras. Each team will then have to shoot a scene from a well-known film and these efforts will be put together to create a completely unique (and hilarious) version of the film. Instructors will observe how each team works and award/deduct points accordingly contributing to the final score.

Activities:
The day will consist of the following activities:

The Shoot:
The directors and camera crew will be briefed by instructors on how long the film must last and how long to allow for shooting and they'll get tips on sound and lighting. Each team decides who will play each role and teams are allowed to film in any style they choose. The only requirement is that the scenes must be filmed in a single take, rewinding the camera is forbidden and will result in negative scoring.

The Premiere:  
After the final director has hollered 'cut!' for the last time each team's scene will be shown in order and the result is a hilarious snap-shot of a Hollywood classic. The entire group along with the host and instructors will be the premiere audience and judging will take place, Hollywood style. Awards will be presented for best costume, best actor, funniest moment, etc.

Overview
One of the great benefits of team building is that it offers participants the opportunity to indulge their deepest desires and longstanding aspirations, and the iPad Commercial Break event is no exception. Essentially a fun packed film making activity which challenges teams to create their own unique commercial, which are then reviewed before a winner is announced at an Oscars style awards ceremony.

Format
Each team is set the same creative challenge, while they are also equipped with an array of dazzling props, purposeful resources and even a specialist iPad integrated with film production software. These teams then collaborate throughout the day to create their film, with a view to winning the grand prize and a self styled Oscar award!

With this in mind, what challenges will each team have to face through the course of the task? Consider the following: -

• Determining Roles and Responsibilities: While this is primarily a fun task, there are also a number of professional and leadership based challenges involved. Firstly, participants within each team must determine individual roles, with the selection of director, camera operator and actors particularly important!

• Creative Thinking and Visualization: The ability to think creatively and visualize concepts is crucial, especially when it comes to driving businesses forward. Your film making task will challenge team members to develop innovative themes and bring them to life, testing their judgement and ability to think outside of the box!

• The Correct Use of Props and Filming: The fact that each team has the same equipment is telling, and they are also given a single shot to film their commercial. This challenges the ability of each individuals ability to work in harmony, while under intense pressure and strict time demands.

Once these challenges have been met, each participating team will present their adverts to their peers and judges. Appraised on the quality of their advert and a series of additional criteria that are set beforehand, the winners will receive their very own Oscar and experience the unadulterated excitement of a red carpet, silver screen experience.

Overview
Animate and create allows your team to become film producers for a day and produce a unique feature animation to take away. Thinking creatively promotes activity in the brain responsible for goal-directed behaviour and motivation to achieve. These creative worshops provide your team with the chance to re-discover the joys of plasticine whilst developing team work and having fun.

Format
Animate and create is a workshop which promotes creative thinking and innovative problem solving whilst being a fun and unusual day out. It is flexible so either we can give you a fun, tailored brief to follow or you can come up with your own. The aim of the workshop is to create characters out of plasticine, complete with costumes and props, and then film a feature animation using them. All of this is done using our professional resources, expertise, and readymade moulds. Working as a film crew to film the animation requires the whole team to work together, and builds skills in confidence, co-operation and communication. The relaxed and fun atmosphere also unleashes the creativity of the team. The sessions can be a half day or full and the number of plasticine characters and length of the feature animation will differ accordingly. Teams will be guided through all stages of the process of creating their own characters and will then be assisted by professional animators in order to film the feature animation. Sessions can be as relaxed or as structured as is desired. Structured team building elements can be formally incorporated in the sessions or participants can be given freedom to experiment as they wish.

Our compere at the start of the event explains that the task is to create a concise video clip or advertisement that would be fitting on prime-time television; that tells the world why their company is unique and better than the rest!
As well as being a through provoking activity, this task provides valuable learning outcomes, such as communication amongst teams, working to time constraints, trust and attention to detail. Each team is provided with a vast array of props and the necessary storyboards.
