Without a smidgen of pretention, this relaxed comedy club is the perfect place to stretch those funny bones and loosen those inhibitions on your stag. With two fully stocked bars, plenty of seating space, some rib tickling comics and a pumping afterparty, The Highlight is a wonderfully good-natured club and the only port of call for your big night out.

Notes
- Doors open at 7:00pm (you must be seated by 7:20pm)
- Show time 8:15pm to 10:30pm
- Afterparty ends at 2:00am.
- Single sex groups will not be seated at the front but those that get non-restricted seats will be placed with a clear view of the stage
- Groups seated together where possible, but cannot be guaranteed.
- A refundable £100 behaviour bond will apply to groups of 12 or more.

Overview:
Welcome to the Moulin Rouge of the North, a fantastic array of drag acts, dancers, cabaret and comedy amid the heady and hedonistic atmosphere of The Birdcage.

You’ll be greeted in true VIP style by one of the drag queens on the red carpet, who’ll whisk you past the queue and straight to your table towards the front of the club.

At 10 pm the show starts with a stand up routine by the fabulous Miss Orry incorporating an ‘introduction’ of the bride-to-be to the crowd. The show then kicks on (literally) with five drag queens, two male and two female dancers performing to a variety of hits, from 'New York, New York' to Madonna and Christina Aguilera.

By the time the show ends at 1 am, you’ll have sung yourself hoarse and be ready to hit the dance floor for the last couple of hours.

Dress Code:
No jeans or trainers. The more outrageous the better.

Note:
Make sure you are there before 10pm or you risk losing your table.

As Charlie Chaplin once said, "A day without laughter is a day wasted." Throw together some side-splitting stand-up and a booze-filled nightclub after party and you've got yourself a mirth filled evening of which we're sure old Charlie would approve.
