Overview:
These karts were recently featured in a ‘Top Gear' magazine article written by Jeremy Clarkson. This sums up his impression and is a direct quote from the article: ‘Without wishing to sound completely spoiled, I've got a Ferrari in the garage and yet, give me the choice this afternoon of going for a blast in that, or going for a spin on the Hoover-powered bedspring and there's no contest. The BoCart wins every time.'

Format:
An initial driver briefing is followed by a couple of laps following a pace vehicle to give the drivers a feel for the course. The group is then split into groups (ideally 4 groups of 4, but obviously this depends on numbers), who will then compete against each other in a full on 1 hour endurance race. The aim of the event is for each team to accrue as many laps as possible within the 1 hour time frame. Each group will be in charge of how they handle driver changeovers (which is where the tactics come in). Generally your arms will feel like they are about to drop off after about 4-5 laps!

Specification:
13hp Honda GX390 4-stroke engine, rear suspension, oil clutch, disc brakes, ATV type tyres, and a 3-point safety harness.

Notes:
- The activity will last approximately 1¼ - 1½ hours
- If the conditions are too wet to run the event at an enjoyable level it will be swapped for quad biking.

Overview:
As you're right in the heart of Robin Hood country, there's no better place to test your aim with a bow and arrow.

All participants will receive full instruction on how to handle the weapons before heading out onto the range. Groups will take turns handling some state-of-the-art archery bows that will have even first time users looking like pros. Unless you have a member of your group you're not particularly fond of, there will be no firing apples off peoples' heads - just some skilful target shooting that will require a sharp eye and a steady hand.

The archery range is set in a glade in the middle of the woodland, with targets set at varied distances aiming to provide everyone with the chance to hit the bullseye.

Overview:
Why choose between a driving or shooting event when you can have booth? This is an action packed event where both events can be done at the same venue.

Dirty Buggies:
This is one of the best off-road karting events in Nottingham. Combine speed, control, team-work and raw talent to prove which people in your group have 'balls of steel' and which are 'namby pamby Mummy boys'.

Format:
The group is split into two teams - each team providing a steward, pit boss, belter, lap marshal and driver (in rotation). The race consists of 6 timed laps for each driver- then you swap circuits with the other team. Each person drives a total of 12 laps.

Specification:
British built, Honda powered, safety certified, 390cc karts with no size restriction.

Duration:
Duration depends on numbers but you should allow approximately 75 minutes for a group of 10 people.

Clay Shooting:
Ready... aim... FIRE! Clay pigeon shooting is a fantastic event to get the competitive juices flowing amongst your group. The aim of activity is simple- get the clay in your sights and blast it to smithereens!

Your team will get a full safety briefing from the instructors before being let loose with a double barrel shotgun. Everyone will get a chance to have a practice with the weapons where the instructors will help them refine their techniques as they fire away at 15 clays.

Once everyone has their eyes in and feels confident with the gun, there'll be a head-to-head in a competition. Each competitor will get 10 clays and has to shoot down as many as they can. Expect competition to be fierce as everyone vies to be top gun.

Overview:
Paintball is a stag weekend favourite that never fails to provide top value entertainment for all the crew. All of our sites have numerous unique game zones that allow you the chance to recreate scenes from your favourite war movies and inflict some pain and humiliation on your mates in the process.

Games:
You can choose to do either a half day or a full day session, however we find for that a half day starting after lunch is ideal for most stag parties as it allows for precious hangover recovery time! On arrival at the site you'll be kitted out in protective overalls and face masks and issued with a top-notch, gas powered gun. After a quick safety and rules briefing you'll head into the combat zones for some paint-splattered action.

20 - 30 people will be out on the playing field at any one time, each player getting the opportunity to use the latest and greatest paintball guns to spray a barrage of pellets at their mates!

Fully qualified marshalls will be on hand to offer instruction.

- Additional paintballs can be purchased on site from £7 per 100. Cheaper ammo is available buy in bulk amounts (500+)

The course has been designed to test and entertain as well as give you a thorough workout! There is a cargo net, aerial walkways, a Burma bridge, balance beams, scramble nets, rope swing and more to keep the adrenaline pumping!

It’d be a crime to visit Robin Hood country without having a crack at the ancient sport of archery. Try out a range of amazingly fun non-ballistic weaponry on a variety of targets. All participants will receive full instruction on how to handle the weapons prior to shooting the different sized targets nestled in the woodland. Participants can choose from a number of bows before partaking in a practice round and full competition.

Overview:
Do you like football? Do you like humans? Do you like tables? If so, a game of human table football will press all the right buttons.

You've played table football in the pub, now imagine an 55ft x 25ft inflatable pitch with you as one of the players! You play in teams of 6, attached to bars with velcro so you can only move sideways- excellent if you're good on the ball but chronically unfit! Your communication and coordination skills will have to be top notch as you can only move side-to-side in rows, crab style.

You can make substitutions throughout the game, so employ some squad rotation to keep everybody happy.

Overview:
If someone says 'Archer', what do you think of? The biggest liar and worst novelist since the beginning of time, or a man shooting a bow and arrow? Well, whatever you think, fill your quiver full of arrows and nail some bullseyes.

Archery doesn't score highly in the glamour stakes, but when it comes to fun factor it's close to the top of the list. Always great to get some friendly rivalry going amongst your group, you'll be able to shoot until your arm falls off... not literally, but you be able to shoot plenty of arrows. Top shot gets the bragging rights, worst shot gets the beers in.

Overview
There's nothing quite like a bit of head-to-head rivalry with your mates. They say that nice guys come last, so the question is: do you have the competitive instinct and controlled aggression needed to finish first? Or are you happy to look down the tailpipe of your pal as he passes the chequered flag? No one wants that on their record for future pub banter. 

Forget about speed limits and points on your licence, put your foot to the floor and burn rubber around the one of the city's  great karting tracks. Karting was made for large groups and whether you are racing individually or in teams everyone’s eyes will be on the leader board to see who’s on top.
 
This track features both indoor and outdoor sections, so it's a full-on karting experience where different weather conditions require true skills to master. So suit up, strap in, grab the wheel and unleash the speed demon inside!

Format
Each driver will receive 5 practice laps, then in teams they will race for 30 minutes per person, each team shares one kart – it is up to the team how often they change the driver . The team that complete the most laps within the time limit will be victorious. - This event really is an endurance test and groups need to know that it will involve a lot of driving – for the serious karter/adrenalin junkie.

Duration
Allow approximately 2-3 hours for this event, depending on group size.

Notes
This event can be combined with other activities such as clay shooting, zorbing or tank driving at the same site.
