Good bars, plenty of nice looking girls and cheap beer, what more is there to say?. An excellent location for a stag do.

Perfect. The cheap beers and food meant the whole weekend didn't spiral into crazy money. If you want, then it's a nice city to walk around in the day. Everyone spoke English and didn't feel at all like we were being ripped off. In fact the opposite, couldn't believe how much we got for our money.

Was placed out of town 10/15 tram journey into town which became a problem as we didn't have a clue what stop to get off in town and then had to find the New Yorker to find rep which took a wile would of been easier for rep to meet us at hostel and showed us was told we was 8/10 min walk into town when booked I guess we got moved to sister hostel out of town

Couldn't have asked for a better location. Bang in the city centre close to everything you need. Felt clean and safe and made the experience of Prague that much more enjoyable.

Gorgeous city - just a shame I did not have the time to see it other than from the river (that is the nature of the event and not a criticism of Chillisauce), but it maybe an idea to include 'other things' to do / see in prague as part of the literature.

This was my fourth time in Prague and id go back in a heart beat.

In a Nutshell:
- Prague is quite literally located in the heart of Europe: it is 600 km away from the Baltic Sea and over 700 km away from the Northern Sea and Adriatic Sea.
- The population of Prague is 1.21 million.
- Prague Castle is the most popular sight visited in Prague. It is the largest ancient castle in the world (570m long, 128m wide, and area of 7.28 hectares).
- Other famous sights include Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square and the many ancient buildings located throughout the town.
- The official language is Czech, however English is widely spoken and understood.

Out on the Town:
If you're after an unforgettable boozy night on the town, you've come to the right place: Prague is jam packed with local and visiting party animals and the town's night life is nothing short of electric. From amazing outdoor nightclubs with pools and spas to seedy neighbourhood pubs, Prague has got it all. Beer lovers are also in for a treat as Czech beer is renowned for being not only cheap but of world beating quality. Some of the most popular local brands include Staropramen, Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus, and Budweiser (Budvar). Visitors to the city usually head to the Old Town area which offers more pubs, clubs and bars than you can shake a pickled cabbage at.

Daytime Activities:
Visitors to Prague will have plenty of opportunity to get out in the stunning Czech countryside to enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities. stag party can get a bit of friendly competition fired up by getting stuck into the likes of paintballing, karting, clay pigeon shooting, rafting and quad biking. Each activity will allow you the opportunity to not only have brilliant fun, but to also appreciate the special atmosphere that is unique to the Czech Republic's outdoor areas.

Weather:
Between May and September Prague has average daily highs in the mid 20°Cs. Rainfall is fairly regular throughout the year and the snowy winters can be quite bleak.

Currency:
The national currency is the Czech Crown (Kc / CZK). £1 = 43CZK (approx.).

Transport:
Prague has a well serviced and reasonably cheap public transport network of buses and trams. Visitors to the city are warned that pickpockets abound on public transport, so keep your money somewhere safe. Trams are the easiest way to travel around the city centre, however the area is easily travelled on foot. Taxi drivers in Prague are notorious for ripping off tourists. Your best bet is to phone a reputable taxi company to order a taxi as hailing one off the street can be a risky proposition. The starting rate should be about 25Kc, and 20Kc per kilometre after that. From central Prague, a ride to the airport should cost no more than 400Kc; a short ride in the city centre should be about 130Kc, a ride to one of the surrounding districts up to 200Kc.
