Whether you're a speed demon or a great driving technician you'll get the chance to excel as one track includes a huge jump and plenty of twists and turns whilst the other is flatter, has less corners and is a quicker surface.

Drivers will race from staggered starts in a game of cat and mouse. You'll not only be racing against an opponent but also against the clock and the driver who clocks the best time will take home the bragging rights. Slowest sloth gets the beers in.

Indoor Karting:
Gear up, race fans: it's time to burn rubber. With honour, prestige and a trophy on the line, this is no time to be pussy-footing around. Put your foot to the floor and have your mates eating dust.

The 400m track features hairpins, chicanes and a 50m flyover and underpass and you'll be behind the wheel of a 270cc Sodi Race Kart, which are amongst the fastest currently available indoors. If you want to clock a lightening quick time, break late into the chicane and accelerate out of it to take full advantage of the long downhill straight.

Depending on the size of your group your session will run in one of three formats: Each driver will have 30-35 minutes driving time each.

Sprint Race:
- 5 minutes practice
- 5 minute qualifier
- 20 minute race
- Winner's presentation with medals

Endurance Format:
Non-stop team racing event, with pit stops and driver changeovers.

Overview:
These karts were recently featured in a ‘Top Gear' magazine article written by Jeremy Clarkson. This sums up his impression and is a direct quote from the article: ‘Without wishing to sound completely spoiled, I've got a Ferrari in the garage and yet, give me the choice this afternoon of going for a blast in that, or going for a spin on the Hoover-powered bedspring and there's no contest. The BoCart wins every time.'

Format:
An initial driver briefing is followed by a couple of laps following a pace vehicle to give the drivers a feel for the course. The group is then split into groups (ideally 4 groups of 4, but obviously this depends on numbers), who will then compete against each other in a full on 1 hour endurance race. The aim of the event is for each team to accrue as many laps as possible within the 1 hour time frame. Each group will be in charge of how they handle driver changeovers (which is where the tactics come in). Generally your arms will feel like they are about to drop off after about 4-5 laps!

Specification:
13hp Honda GX390 4-stroke engine, rear suspension, oil clutch, disc brakes, ATV type tyres, and a 3-point safety harness.

Notes:
- The activity will last approximately 1¼ - 1½ hours
- If the conditions are too wet to run the event at an enjoyable level it will be swapped for quad biking.

Paintball
The Site:
Located on 150 acres of undulating woodlands, this top quality paintball site has over 10 different game zones. Transform from mild mannered gent into a cold-blooded mercenary as you track your mates down and attempt to defeat them with a hail of savagely aimed pellets.

Format:
Groups will begin their session by getting kitted up in full camouflage gear and given a full site safety briefing. After the formalities are out of the way, it’s off into the danger zone to begin your ruthless rampage.

The playing zones on offer are truly outstanding and comprise of villages, bridges, castles, bunkers and a Wild West zone that features a church, saloon and undertakers! A selection of different games will be played throughout the session - approximately 8-10 games for a full day and 5-6 for a half day. Some of the sessions include:

Bridge over the River Kwai:
You have a multitude of options open to you on this one. Do you go over the high bridge or the low bridge? Through the pillbox or the spider tunnels? Only your cunning will see you through safely!

Storm the Fort:
All you have to do is collect the pieces of a 32 foot square jigsaw puzzle. The problem? The parts are scattered around the outside walls of a 3 storey castle manned by your opponents! Assemble the puzzle in the quickest time and walk off the field as victor!

Close Quarter Combat Battlefield:
Ever been to a paintball site where there was nowhere to hide? That certainly won’t be a problem here: there are so many places for people to hide that it can take a what seems like a lifetime to weed out the opposition! Participants will defend their own bunker and attempt to catch the opposition’s flag before they have their own flag taken!

The Maze:
A tricky 4 acre maze where you can see the opposition but can’t actually get to them! As a team you have to find your way in, capture the flag and find your way back out unharmed.

Bale Mania:
150 two ton bales block your path. There are 32 tags: one in each stack of bales. All you have to do is gain position of each bale stack, plant your team tag to claim position and then hold out until the final whistle blows!

Bunker Hill:
Throw yourself into some authentic warfare action as you make your way over the 2000 sand bags that form this low level playing zone. Your heart will be pounding as you wait for the command to go over the top and face your enemy; can you handle the pressure?

Jungle Village Assault:
Put yourself in the thick of the action as you find yourself in a village with 30 plus buildings and a four room main hall in the centre. All you have to do is find the movement sensitive ammo box and take it to the enemy’s base... but don't forget, if you trigger the mercury switch, the siren will sound and you are on your way to watch from the elimination zone!

Duration:
Full day: 6 hours (9.30am – 4pm).
Half day: 4 hours (sessions commence at either 9.30 am or 11.30 am).

This is the ultimate down and dirty package that combines superb woodland paintball with a challenging quad bike trek. Groups can put their muscle where their mouths are as they engage in these two tough events!

Quad Bike Trek:
After an initial driver briefing, you will be given a few test laps on an open circuit to get a feel for how the bikes handle. After the successful completion of the practice laps, riders will head out into the woods to begin their trek. There are 6 different riding zones that you will encounter: Zone 1 is a flat, open track in woodland; Zone 2 is an angled area where you will get the bike riding on 38 degree angles; Zone 3 will focus on climbing and descending; Zone 4 will encompass water and mud; Zone 5 will be an accumulation of Zones 1-4; Zone 6 will be a cross-country trek around the perimeter of site.

The size and variety of the terrain is exceptional measuring in at an impressive 150 acres. This is truly a group experience with a maximum of 10 people riding the bikes at the same time rather than a load of the group standing around watching waiting for their turn. No more than 10 are allowed on any one trek as it spoils the flow so there are a range of "add on" events to keep the remainder of larger groups occupied and to keep up the momentum of the day.

Off-Road Buggies:
Feel the thrill and excitement as you drive these Honda powered, bucket seated 390cc liberator Dirt Buggies. Put these speedy, super light buggies through their paces around a 1200m purpose built time trial course before taking them off-road where you will be taken on a trail of humps, bumps and jumps along more demanding terrain. Rain or shine, these superb machines will get your heart racing!

Duration:
Allow around an hour and a half for this event included briefing and kitting up. (Based on a group of 10).

Quad Biking:
Historic Sherwood Forest provides the perfect backdrop for putting 150cc Challenger quad bikes through their paces. Your session begins with the chance to thrash these four-wheeled motorbikes around two simple tracks where those who haven't tried them before get used to the thumb throttle and cornering techniques. After this short and fun introduction, you'll head out on a rip-roaring trek on a meadow trail through humps and bumps where you can pick up a good head of speed and woodlands where you can put the skills you've picked up to the test.

Notes:
- Maximum of 6 quads out at one time.
- Each rider will experience at least ½ an hour of exhilarating riding time.

Its a Knockout - Just Like on TV!
This is your chance to recreate the mayhem of one of the all time classic TV programs, ‘It’s a Knockout’. Using many of the original props and some well crafted new ones, the day takes place on a huge sports field complete with all the water traps and slippery slides that you’d expect.

As you slip your head up the backside of a 12 foot penguin you may well begin to wonder about the wisdom of the round of tequila slammers you bought at 3 am the previous morning... Your stamina, co-ordination and willingness to ‘do it for the team’ will be well tested!

Groups Sizes & Teams:
You will compete against many other stags, hens and merrymakers on the day. Depending on numbers, groups will be split into teams of 8-12 people. There may be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 18 teams participating in any one event.

Duration:
- Starts at 1.30pm
- Lasts 2.5-3 hours

Bring some warm clothes and prepare to get wet! You may need a change of clothes for after the Knockout activity.

You will be fully kitted out with overalls, guns, mask, goggles, hopper and air cylinder before being split into your teams. Games last between 10 and 30 minutes depending on skill or pure luck, so even if you get hit you won't be out of action for long. All games are professionally refereed to insure player safety and fair play.

Under the tutelage of experienced archers you'll be taught all of the finer points of the sport before being let loose on the targets. If you've got a steady hand and a sharp eye and you should be able to nail the target with regularity... hopefully.

If clay pigeon shooting is a bit last century for you then get all 'Star Wars' with a laser clay shooting session.

Using shotguns which have been specially converted to fire low energy laser beams rather than bullets, you'll aim at real clays fitted with sensors. Your score will be recorded electronically and displayed on a digital scoreboard. Even if you're a complete technophobe you'll soon get the hang of things with top tips from laser shooting experts.

Human Table Football:
Do you like football? Do you like humans? Do you like tables? If so, a game of human table football will press all the right buttons.

You've played table football in the pub, now imagine an 55ft x 25ft inflatable pitch with you as one of the players! You play in teams of 6, attached to bars with velcro so you can only move sideways: excellent if you're good on the ball but chronically unfit! Your communication and coordination skills will have to be top notch as you can only move from side to side in rows, crab style.

Referees are provided and you can make substitutions, so you can employ some squad rotation to keep everybody happy.

Pull off spins you thought could only be done by pikeys in souped-up Novas with a powerturn buggies session and combine that with one of three other fun packed activities.

Powerturns:
For a driving experience like no other, strap yourself into a powerturn and prepare for a hilarious ride. The buggies have no steering wheel, are incredibly light and have sensitive throttles so if you're heavy handed you'll find yourself throwing numerous unplanned wheelies.  

The two seater buggies are controlled by levers running down the side of the car attached to twin engines which run independently so you have to coordinate controls with your co-driver otherwise you'll end up spinning out of control. 

You'll have to guide the powerturn around an obstacle course whilst trying keep the buggy under control and the front wheels on the floor. If you master the controls quickly throw some wheelie and doughnut combos to impress your mates.

In teams of 8 or more spend the afternoon competing in a series of events that will test your brains and brawn with loads of banter for the winners and abuse lined up for the losers.

Pick 3 out of the following 4 activities:

Blindfold 4 x 4 Challenge       
This does sound a bit tame on paper, but we assure you that it's one of the funniest things you can do as a group. There is always one bloke who just can't get the hang of it and will end up copping heaps for the remainder of the trip. Let's just hope it's not you!

The 770 metre course has a start garage and a slalom course so all everyone has to do is drive around the course. It all seems so easy... That is, until the instructor hands you your blacked-out goggles. You will have a team mate on each side of the vehicle with the rest of the team in the vehicle with the driver. Everyone has the chance to drive.

Assault Course
This purpose built course has approximately 15 obstacles for your team to make their way over. Just to make it interesting and to really get the blood pumping, your team will have to transport a cannon around the course with you trying to go faster than your opponents.

Construction Challenge
This is where the nerd in your team could come in handy (apart from carrying your bags all weekend).
The Construction Challenge is similar to the T.V show Scrapheap Challenge where groups are asked to design or build something and are then asked to complete a task using the new contraption.

Archery
As you're right in the heart of Robin Hood country, why not try out a range of bows and arrows on a variety of targets? All participants will receive full instruction on how to handle the weapons before heading out onto the range. Groups will take turns handling some state-of-the-art archery bows that will have even first time users looking like pros. Unless you have a member of your group who you're not particularly fond of, there will be no firing apples off people's heads, just some skilful target shooting that will require a sharp eye and a steady hand.

Note:
The event time for a maximum of 24 people over three events will be 3 to 4 hours
There will only be two available slots per day a 9.45 am arrival 1.45 pm arrival.
Tea & coffee and lunch are included. Lunch is only available for those doing the morning slot.
A trophy can be arranged for the winning team for £10.

Woodland Archery
It'd be a crime to visit Robin Hood country without having a crack at the ancient sport of archery. Try out a range of amazingly fun non-ballistic weaponry on a variety of targets. All participants will receive full instruction on how to handle the weapons prior to shooting the different sized targets nestled in the woodland. Participants can choose from a number of bows before taking part in a practice round and full competition.

Assault Course
The course has been designed to test and entertain as well as give you a thorough workout! There is a cargo net, aerial walkways, a Burma bridge, balance beams, scramble nets, rope swing and more to keep the adrenaline pumping!

Blindfold Driving
A hilarious activity that involves the whole team! Test your driving skills and your ability to listen and communicate at the same time; try communicating with musical instruments for something really different!

Dirt Buggies

Quad Biking
Historic Sherwood Forest provides the perfect backdrop for putting 150cc Challenger quad bikes through their paces. Your session begins with the chance to thrash these four wheeled motorbikes around two simple tracks where those who haven't tried them before can get used to the thumb throttle and cornering techniques. After this short and fun introduction, you'll head out on a rip-roaring trek on a meadow trail through humps and bumps where you can pick up a good head of speed and woodlands where you can put the skills you've picked up to the test.

- Maximum of 6 quads out at one time.
- Each rider will experience at least ½ an hour of exhilarating riding time.

Air Rifle Target Shooting
Who's got the sharpest eye in your team? Who could quit their day job and start a glittering career as a sniper? Easy to use with no recoil, you will be given a variety of targets of increasing difficulty as the competition hots up. An instructor will be on hand to teach you the basics of using 22 calibre rifles before you launch into the competition.

- Two full sessions of your choice

4X4 Driving
Drop in at the deep end with this thrilling driving experience! This 4x4 session has been put together for people wishing to experience the adrenalin rush of real off-road driving in Land Rovers and Range Rovers. Drivers will learn basic control techniques and the ability to identify the vehicle's limitations before they attempt to handle the purpose built woodland tracks, mud, water, hills, ditches and gravity defying slopes.

Included:
Dirt buggy time trial and safari
4X4 instruction

Duration:
Activities will approximately last 2.5 hours

Overview:
Do your stretches, get stuck into a bit of air-boxing and relentlessly trash-talk your adversaries... It's competition time.
Get ready for 3 great activities rolled into one great big challenging race. Sphereing, kayaking and water running are all on the menu and it's gonna get fast, frantic and wet!

The group is split into teams of 2 and each pair will be strapped into a sphere and launched from the top of the sphereing run. You'll roll down the 175 metre purpose built sphere track and then the race is really on. Now it's time to un-strap and run to the lake edge where you'll get in the kayak and paddle across the lake. Once at the edge you'll get into a water walker and race back across the lake, then it's out and a sprint for the finish line.

A real good laugh and test of physical prowess the winners will emerge wet, breathless and over-excited with those all important bragging rights.

Overview:
Gear up for an action packed day of motorised activities and adrenaline pumping shooting activities. This easily accessible and centrally based site extends over 300 acres. The Rivers Anchor and Sence flow through the heart of the site, providing excellent opportunities for all-terrain driving and a host of other activities. All we can do is recommend you don't wear anything white as it's bound to wind up another colour by the end of the day!
Off Road Kart Racing
Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! Teams or individuals compete around a timed course to complete the circuit in the fastest possible time. The course follows a challenging series of turns and fast straights around a grass track. The karts are easy to drive as they have only an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal.
The Karts:
The high specification 400cc Gemini Liberator off road karts are ideally suited to all-terrain track racing. Using the very best components available, including Honda engines with electric start and with an adjustable seat to suit all sizes, they provide a comfortable ride.
Capable of speeds up to 40mph, the Gemini Liberator karts are the ultimate in off road karting. With the ability to travel over muddy fields, grass, sand and gravel, you can enjoy all the thrills of off road karting without going to a racetrack.
Track:
The course follows a challenging series of turns and fast straights around a grass track. The course can often be adapted to suit group requirements, should a more or less demanding track be required. The karts are easy to drive having simply an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal.

Duration:
1.5 hours
Quad Biking
Quad biking is a demanding 1 ½ hour event done in teams of 4-6 people. The session commences with a safety briefing where riders are shown how to handle the quads and how to get the most out of the machines and a practice on the course. Teams or individuals compete around a timed course to complete the circuit in the fastest possible time. Riders alternate at regular intervals to make sure that all participants have equal race time on the course. With the team event, lap times are pooled to give the total team race time and overall positions, whilst individually lap times are averaged to find the winner.

The Quads:
Yamaha Breeze 125's with 125cc engines.
Notes:
- You will need to bring outdoor clothing including walking boots/old trainers and waterproof clothing if the weather looks poor. Clothing and footwear may get wet and muddy during the race. Overalls are available to wear over clothing.
- Minimum of 8 people; maximum 25 people.
Duration:
Paintball Half-day: 9.30am-1.30pm or 1pm-4.30pm. Full-day: 9.30am-4.30pm.
All other activities: 1½ hours including ½ hour briefing.
Food:
- A variety of catering options are available depending upon the activities which will be carried out. Snacks and drinks are available throughout the day.
- On-Site Buffet: A range of catering options are available on-site including a hot and/or cold buffet, or a BBQ.

Overview:
The wooded depths of Sherwood forest set the picturesque scene for a day of multi-activity mayhem. Take your pick of any 3 of the activities below and get stuck in!

Blindfold 4 x 4 Driving:
Rendered blind and following the panicked instructions from your terrified passenger, what could go wrong as you drive a 4x4 round a challenging course?

Archery:
Pick up a bow and arrow, take aim and shoot 2 foot wide of the target to the heckling jeers of your mates. Hit the bullseye and nail bragging rights for the rest of the day.

Assault Course:
Climb, crawl, jump and scramble your way round this testing obstacle course whilst trying to avoid falling over and ending up with a face full of mud.

Laser Tag (1hr event min group size 12):
Like paintball but without the bruises, blast the living daylights out your mates with some mean sounding laser beams as you dive behind shrubbery in the woodland course.

Sumo:
Slip into your fatsuit and charge headfirst into your mate in a tussle to see who's king of the circle. Use your brute obesity to see who best utilises their prosthetic flab to become king of the ring.

Jungle Challenge:
A bit like a woodland 'crystal maze', you're mental and physical capabilities will be put to the test as you solve a series of cunning challenges. From the 999 puzzle to helicopter rescue to rollercoatsre basketball, you'll have to come up with and execute the perfect plan!

Notes:
If you choose the Blindfold 4x4 Driving 50% of the group will need to be able to drive.

The event time is aprox 3-4.5hrs depending on group size

Spread over the Nottinghamshire countryside, this activity centre offers an unmatched variety of superb motorised and field sports. Build your own day of thrills and spills by selecting any three of the following events. Two or four event combos can also be arranged, please ask for details.

Woodland Archery
It'd be a crime to visit Robin Hood country without having a crack at the ancient sport of archery. Try out a range of amazingly fun non-ballistic weaponry on a variety of targets. All participants will receive full instruction on how to handle the weapons prior to shooting the different sized targets nestled in the woodland. Participants can choose from a number of bows before taking part in a practice round and full competition.

Assault Course
The course has been designed to test and entertain as well as give you a thorough workout! There is a cargo net, aerial walkways, a Burma bridge, balance beams, scramble nets, rope swing and more to keep the adrenaline pumping!

Blindfold Driving
A hilarious activity that involves the whole team! Test your driving skills and your ability to listen and communicate at the same time; try communicating with musical instruments for something really different!

Why choose between a driving or shooting event when you can have booth? This is an action packed event where both events can be done at the same venue.

Dirty Buggies:
This is one of the best off-road karting events in Nottingham. Combine speed, control, team-work and raw talent to prove which people in your group have 'balls of steel' and which are 'namby pamby Mummy boys'.

Format:
The group is split into two teams - each team providing a steward, pit boss, belter, lap marshal and driver (in rotation). The race consists of 6 timed laps for each driver- then you swap circuits with the other team. Each person drives a total of 12 laps.

Specification:
British built, Honda powered, safety certified, 390cc karts with no size restriction.

Duration:
Duration depends on numbers but you should allow approximately 75 minutes for a group of 10 people.

Clay Shooting:
Ready... aim... FIRE! Clay pigeon shooting is a fantastic event to get the competitive juices flowing amongst your group. The aim of activity is simple- get the clay in your sights and blast it to smithereens!

Your team will get a full safety briefing from the instructors before being let loose with a double barrel shotgun. Everyone will get a chance to have a practice with the weapons where the instructors will help them refine their techniques as they fire away at 15 clays.

Once everyone has their eyes in and feels confident with the gun, there'll be a head-to-head in a competition. Each competitor will get 10 clays and has to shoot down as many as they can. Expect competition to be fierce as everyone vies to be top gun.
