Overview:
As the old saying goes, never drink on an empty stomach, so what could be better before a night of drunken debauchery than a three course Chinese meal? This is Blackpool's oldest trading restaurant, having opened its doors in 1961, but there's nothing dated about the menu as it serves the very latest in top-notch Chinese nosh.
The restaurant is a former winner of the North West's Best Food Restaurant and was rated by The Times as having the best wine list in Blackpool. Described by locals as an ‘institution', The Mandarin has a deserved reputation for superb food and friendly staff and is situated just two minutes' walk from Queen Square (Blackpool's main social area).
