Overview
Victor Borge once said: 'Laughter is the shortest distance between two people.' He couldn't have been more right. When you're together with a group that perhaps you don't know entirely well, a Comedy show acts as a perfect icebreaker, while getting the group in high spirits. When combined with a tasty meal (ask for details), this comedy show will provide the perfect start to your evening out on the town. Heckle at your own risk!

The show usually consists of 3-4 acts, with the occasional TV headliner thrown in Table service is provided, so there'll be no need to wander off to the bar mid-set and risk being the target of the comedian on-stage!

AfterParty:
After the show, you'll be juiced up and rearing to go. Luckily for you the venue transforms into a pumping DJ driven afterparty once the comedy's finished.

Show Times
Doors open: 7:00pm Sharp - You must be seated by 7:20pm.
Show time: 8:15pm to 10:30pm
Afterparty ends at 2:00am.

Seating:
- Single sex groups will not be seated at the front but those that get non-restricted seats will be placed with a clear view of the stage

Overview:
Welcome to the Moulin Rouge of the North, a fantastic array of drag acts, dancers, cabaret and comedy amid the heady and hedonistic atmosphere of The Birdcage.

You’ll be greeted in true VIP style by one of the drag queens on the red carpet, who’ll whisk you past the queue and straight to your table towards the front of the club.

At 10 pm the show starts with a stand up routine by the fabulous Miss Orry incorporating an ‘introduction’ of the bride-to-be to the crowd. The show then kicks on (literally) with five drag queens, two male and two female dancers performing to a variety of hits, from 'New York, New York' to Madonna and Christina Aguilera.

By the time the show ends at 1 am, you’ll have sung yourself hoarse and be ready to hit the dance floor for the last couple of hours.

Dress Code:
No jeans or trainers. The more outrageous the better.

Make sure you are there before 10pm or you risk losing your table.

A really clever philosophical Greek guy once said: "a day without laughter is a day wasted" and we couldn't agree more with this ancient dead dude. Nothing will lift your spirits more than a night out listening to rude, crude, hilariously distasteful jokes at this side-splitting comedy club where no risque stone is left unturned. With comfy seating and plenty of opportunity to swallow a few pitchers amongst all the mirth, this is a great way to set you up for a raucous, enjoyable night out.

If your mate fancies himself as a bit of a joker and a few pints has made him retarded enough to heckle, sit him at the front and watch the comedians crush him until he shrinks into his chair like a fat midget on a bean bag.

This venue has a great comedy club and a nightclub all under one roof and you'll get to experience both in this fantastic package.

Laughing until beer shoots from your nostrils, you can't go wrong with a good old comedy show. Just remember: laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you're a goddamn pansy.

After the laughter:
No need to rush off after the show into the cold, dark outside world of nightclub queues and bouncers as a DJ spins tunes until late after the show.
