Quirky shops, cosmopolitan nightlife, stunning scenery and a buzzing student community with 83,000 students running loose across the city, really gives this city the edge. To top it off, Leeds is in the midst of a huge multi-million pound transformation, so it’s only going to get better.
She’s not just a pretty face though, Leeds has become the country’s second-most important financial centre after London… they might like to party around here, but they’re nobody’s fool.
Getting around:
Leeds is well serviced by trains, planes and automobiles…and buses and taxis and bikes. There is an extensive range of public transport options which cover all of the Leeds neighborhoods but you might be better off on foot as parking and traffic can be a bit of a pain in the city centre (unless you’re finding it hard to walk, then jump in a cab!). Leeds with all its bright lights and attractions covers a large area so you will need to think about transport to the main hot spots, unless you enjoy a stroll in the cold……

History and Culture:
Leeds is the cultural, financial, commercial and sporting heart of the West Yorkshire urban area and the fastest growing city in the UK. Leeds can trace its recorded history to fifth century when the Kingdom of Elmet was covered by the forest of "Loidis", the origin of the name Leeds.
Nightlife:
Leeds has gained a very strong reputation as one of the best nights out in the UK. With its buzzing student community and metropolitan feel there is endless choice of bustling nightclubs to get your groove on or trendy and suave bars to have a chat and attempt to drown the week’s woes. There is entertainment and atmospheres to tick all parties’ boxes with anything from cabaret themed evenings to super clubs. For something a little special why not try out the Halo club a converted church on woodhouse lane. If you’re looking to mix it with the rich and glamorous, Head to Prohibition or The Living Room; Or if you’re greedy and want everything under one roof, head to Creation; Leeds’ largest nightclub.

The dining in Leeds is just as good as the rest of it; With an extensive choice of places to eat, drink and relax you can take your pick from award winning, Victorian pubs, fashionable wine bars or fast food restaurants offering every type of ethnic cuisine and catering for all tastes. In Leeds there is a very diverse multicultural population offering food from all over the globe. So if lamb bhuna or tikka masala after 10 pints of Guinness is your thing then Leeds will have choice in abundance for all tastes and budgets.

Leeds with it nightlife and activities does not disappoint on the sporting front. If its rugby league or union then Leeds has a great Friday or Saturday venue to host any Stag do. Get the booze flowing and the testosterone pumping with a number of packages to meet all wallets.
