Budapest, a diverse mix of eastern and western cultures (often referred to as the “Paris of the East”), is one of the most beautiful and intriguing capitals in the world. At the crossroads of Eastern and Western cultures it is composed of two main parts: on the hilly west side is historic Buda, whilst Pest is the city’s cosmopolitan centre of shops, restaurants, markets and nightlife.
