Overview
The Schumacher brothers honed their instincts racing karts back home in Germany and here's your chance to follow in their footsteps. With the karts reaching speeds of up to 35mph this is an adrenaline packed event. There really is no feeling like whizzing past your mates, particularly if they spin off in the process.
The Karts:
Are single engine 200cc karts with a top speed of around 35mph.
The Circuit:
Is made up of straights where you can build up maximum speed and hairpins where the point at which you break is all important.
Race Formats:
Grand Prix:
After a safety briefing, you will have 5 practice laps each before embarking on the full competition. This will consist of 4 heats each of 4 laps for each driver. There will then be a 6 lap semi final and a 12 lap final for the best drivers. The top 3 drivers will receive a podium presentation with a trophy for the winner.
Endurance:
Again, your safety briefing will be followed by half an hour practice before embarking on the full competition. You will then be split into teams of between 3 and 6 people, with the objective for each team to be to complete as many laps as possible in the two 1-hour races.
Duration:
Grand Prix: You will be in the centre for around 2 ½ hours, depending on group size.
Notes:
- Only parties of more than 30 drivers are guaranteed to be exclusive.
