Overview:
Head off to the Highlands for a multi-activity day with some highly enjoyable country classics on offer.

Choose any 2 of the following:

4x4 Off Road:
Our 4x4 track is designed to introduce drivers to the skill of negotiating a variety of terrains including steep ascents, descents and traverses. Mud holes and river rides make this track a must for aspiring offroaders.

Clay Pigeon Shooting:
This purpose build clay shooting range incorporates four professionally built “butts” offering incoming, driven or crossing birds. Hitting your clay and seeing it “burst” in the sky guarantees a real buzz!

Archery:
The archery range is built to a high spec offering a variety of targets and distances encouraging natural progression and achievement. Hugely satisfying skill to develop with a “thwack” of the arrow hitting the bull.

Quad Safari:
Using a fleet of modern Yamaha Grizzly quads, these bikes are easily mastered and great fun. You will go on Safari following the instructor exploring the park and woodland with a wide variety of obstacles to cross.

High Ropes Course:
This high ropes course is challenging while being great fun. Crate climb, leap of faith, Jacob’s ladder and death slide will all get the adrenaline pumping.

Highland Games:
Choose Highland Games as a stand alone half day event or as part of a MAD session. Lots of fun events with cabre toss, putt the stane, haggis hurling, farmer’s dash, whisky tasting and much more!

Duration:

- 10am-12:45pm / 2.00pm-4.45pm
- Event duration: 2 hours

Hovercrafting:
Try to drive these fleet footed land/water machines around a huge coned out course. These are powerful 500cc single seater hovercrafts, which rely heavily on throwing your weight around to steer them in the right direction. They don't have the greatest turning circle in the world and handle like a go kart on ice so it takes some true mastery to get them round the course without knocking over the marker cones. Each person is timed round the course, with penalties for knocking over cones, so there is a true competitive element. Each person will get approximately 15 minutes driving time.

Clay Pigeon Shooting:
The session will involve using three different types of trap (this affects the path, speed and direction of way the clay flies to simulate the movement of different types of animal; from a duck dropping onto a pond, to a bounding rabbits and cross flying pigeons). A scoring system is incorporated into the event, to build up the element of competition and provoke after match banter.
Included: Instruction, gun hire and 30 clays per person.

Quad Trekking:
Set in some of Scotland's most beautiful countryside, this is quad trekking as it should be. In groups of up to 6 people, you will trek through bogs, up hills and through woodland on these fully automatic quad bikes. Each person will be on their bikes for a full hour and cover over 6 miles of testing trails, reaching high points where you can see both Stirling and Edinburgh on a clear day.

Durations vary on numbers and events but you should allow the following for the events:

Overview:
Ever fancied getting your hands on a shotgun, setting your sights down the shiny double-barrel and scratching that itchy trigger finger of yours?
The very sociable set up of the shoot means that there will be plenty of opportunity to comment, critique and even applaud your fellow competitors attempts, so it’s a particularly superb activity for drawing together groups where not everyone knows each other that well. By the end of the shoot, they’ll all be bonding down the pub over their sharp-eyed skills, or indeed lack of them, for those who are firing blanks.
Clays is also a great leveller, so it’s perfect for groups where some are not the most active. 

Set in 5 acres of mature woodland, this shooting range has hosted the Scottish Sporting Championships three times in recent years. And capacity wise it has not been unknown for up to 100 people to be safely shooting at one time.  There are 12 permanent stands each served by at least 2 traps, offering regularly changed targets.

There is a bar and in-house chef on site, so you're also able to spend some time after the shoot catching up with some much-needed grub and a few beers - we can offer food and drink vouchers should you wish to pre-pay for your meals. Please ask for more details.

Format:
Shooting guests are free to wander through the wood and shoot whichever stands they wish, in whatever order they choose.

The trap release at each stand is electronically controlled (and counted) and shooters can shoot as many or as few targets as they wish. Individual shooters can take advantage of the "delayed release" function, which allows them to select the target or targets of there choice, operate the trap release button themselves, and still have plenty of time to shoot the released targets - SAFELY!

What better way to satisfy the urge than blasting a clay pigeon to smithereens, catching a victorious waft of the smoking barrels and reloading to unleash more destruction on yet another unsuspecting ceramic projectile.

Experienced instructors will demonstrate to your group how to use a shotgun safely and accurately. The clay pigeon traps are positioned to accommodate all levels of experience and simulate a variety of specific games. The session will involve using three different types of trap - this effects the path, speed and direction of way the clay flies to simulate the movement of different types of animal; from a duck dropping onto a pond, to a bounding rabbits and cross flying pigeons. A scoring system is incorporated into the event so you can sort out the real winners from the losers.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy the country air and smoke a few clays, by the end of the session hopefully you should be nailing the clays more often than not...you'll have a blast!

25 clays per person - 8 or 9 at 3 different traps.

Clay Pigeon Shooting:
Forget horse racing, this is the real sport of kings. With a fully qualified instructor, you will rotate through a variety of traps (so named because originally they contained real pigeons). The instructors are well-versed at dealing with novices and will quickly have you blasting the clays to smithereens on the easier traps. They will then move you on to the more advanced ones, depending on how they rate your group's ability. Bear in mind that the techniques needed change as you move from trap to trap so anyone too cocky after the first few clays may be looking pretty sheepish by the end of the day!

The Site:
This is one of the newest clay pigeon shooting grounds in Scotland and as such it has all the modern facilities you would expect from a ground which has been custom built to the latest standards.

The Club House:
To round off a great day's shooting competition, it's always good to mull over the day's proceedings and warm yourself up in a decent club house. The club house at the ground is a huge affair, with leather sofas and an open fire, where you can sit back, relax and get yourself some true homemade scottish fare after a hard day's shooting.
