Before Jameson is ready to enjoy, it is allowed to mature for many years in seasoned oak casks. As Jameson slowly matures and develops its unique colour and flavour, about 10 percent of the whiskey evaporates; this is known as 'the angels' share'.
This is a tour to show you how Jamesons whiskey is distilled and let you know a bit more history about its origins, dating back to 1780.
All visitors are rewarded with a Jameson whiskey and a lucky few are selected to participate in a tutored whiskey comparison and earn a much coveted personalised Jameson Irish whiskey certificate.
