For those of you who would like to make use of the excellent activity centres in this neck of the woods but want to avoid the popular (and busier) Nottingham, Derby, famous for it's horse racing, is the perfect alternative. The Irongate and Sadler Gate areas of the city have some excellent pubs and bars, with the latter also hosting good shopping for the ladies.
The variety of activities in the area is probably the best in the country - one of the reasons that nearby Nottingham is so popular with stag and hen parties. Apart form the standard activities, why not try some stick-fighting, stuntman training or how about being a 'Superstar for the Day', being pampered and then teaming up with a choreographer to put your own dance routine together.
