Overview:
There's nothing quite like a good karting session to get you and the rest of the group in the mood for plenty of wisecracks and banter. The competitive nature of the event gets everyone in high spirits, and provides a great adrenaline rush. It'll provide a chance for those in the group who don't know each other too well to bond and get to know one another - which is a successful recipe for an epic day out!

The Track
This superb venue provides a 550 metre track demanding enough to test all drivers yet still offering plenty of overtaking opportunities. The tarmac is 6.5m wide at all points with 3m grass runoffs on both sides and incorporates eight bends, three of which are taken at high speed. A special type of blacktop, which does not soften in the heat of summer, has been used in order to provide maximum grip and fast lap times. Concrete curbs and 2 metre wide rumble strips also enhance the racing experience.

The Karts
The karts are JB Revolution pro-karts with twin Honda GX160 four stroke engines of 5.5Hp each. Gearing is set to give a top speed of 50mph, although if the track were longer they could accelerate up to 70mph plus.  That’s pretty quick when your bum is only a few inches off the deck.

The Race
The endurance race format is a team event (generally 2-3 to a team). The object being to cover the greatest number of laps in the allotted time.  Each driver spends approximately 25 minutes at the wheel (including 5 minutes practice), which means that in teams of three the race itself will be one hour long. All teams are on the track at the same time so overtaking, pit stops and strategy play a huge part in determining the eventual winner. A display screen near the pits keeps everyone up to date on the leaders and slowcoaches.

Overview
There is karting and there is ‘hold on for grim death bring a clean pair of underpants' karting. This experience definitely falls into the later. These Sodi RX7 karts are fast, solid and aggressive and you'll be racing them on a 650 metre tarmac floodlit outdoor track, making this the best karting experience you will get in the midlands.

Race Format
After a sign in and a race briefing, it's straight out endurance racing. Your group will be split into two and both groups will have 30 mins of pedal-to-the-metal, rubber-burning, full-out fun. The person who covers the most ground over the half hour competition wins, simple as that. Jump in, put your foot down and tear that track up!

Overview:
This thrilling triple header is pure motorised mayhem.

Quad Biking:
Enjoy the mud and thunder of an intense quad biking session. You'll be in charge of a versatile 180cc quad which you'll guide around a challenging safari style course.

After a safety briefing and practice session for an experienced instructor you'll hit the track where you'll encounter plenty of climbs, drops, obstacles, tight turns and bridges all of which will test your driving skills to the limit. The new track takes around 15 minutes to complete and depending on the size of your group you should get to ride the circuit twice.

Off Road Buggies:
Get behind the wheel of a powerful 400cc Thunderhawk Biz Buggy and put the pedal to the metal. Your driving skills will be pushed to their limits as you hurtle around two custom built 400m tracks which include tough switchbacks, bridges and tarmac and dirt sections.

Whether you're a speed demon or a great driving technician you'll get the chance to excel as one track includes a huge jump and plenty of twists and turns whilst the other is flatter, has less corners and is a quicker surface.

Drivers will race from staggered starts in a game of cat and mouse. You'll not only be racing against an opponent but also against the clock and the driver who clocks the best time will take home the bragging rights. Slowest sloth gets the beers in.

Indoor Karting:
Gear up, race fans: it's time to burn rubber. With honour, prestige and a trophy on the line, this is no time to be pussy-footing around. Put your foot to the floor and have your mates eating dust.

The 400m track features hairpins, chicanes and a 50m flyover and underpass and you'll be behind the wheel of a 270cc Sodi Race Kart, which are amongst the fastest currently available indoors. If you want to clock a lightening quick time, break late into the chicane and accelerate out of it to take full advantage of the long downhill straight.

Depending on the size of your group your session will run in one of three formats: Each driver will have 30-35 minutes driving time each.

Sprint Race:
- 5 minutes practice
- 5 minute qualifier
- 20 minute race
- Winner's presentation with medals

Endurance Format:
Non-stop team racing event, with pit stops and driver changeovers.

They say that nice guys come last, so the question is: do you have the competitive instinct and controlled aggression needed to finish first? Or are you happy to look down the tailpipe of your pal as he passes the chequered flag? No one wants that on their record for future pub banter. 

Forget about speed limits and points on your licence, put your foot to the floor and burn rubber around the one of the city's  great karting tracks. Karting was made for large groups and whether you are racing individually or in teams everyone’s eyes will be on the leader board to see who’s on top.

This track features both indoor and outdoor sections, so it's a full-on karting experience where different weather conditions require true skills to master. So suit up, strap in, grab the wheel and unleash the speed demon inside!

Format
Each driver is going to get ten practice laps, before competing in two 20 lap heats.
After these heats, the top 5 timed drivers will go into a nail-biting 5 lap final to determine the overall winner.

Allow approximately 1.5-2 hours for this event, depending on group size.

This event can be combined with other activities such as clay shooting, zorbing or tank driving at the same site.

Overview:
Gentlemen start your engines! Go full throttle around the David Brabham-designed karting circuit which will test drivers of all abilities, especially if it's raining! 

Once you've donned your freshly laundered Sparco race suits, balaclavas and helmets and have had a safety briefing from one of the race directors, you'll be let loose behind the wheel of a 200cc Honda kart. 

The 450m circuit features long straights, hairpins, chicanes and a lengthy tunnel. Master the circuit early on and you could challenge Eddie Irvine's track record; get it wrong and you could be clocking times that would embarrass your mum.

Overview:
Blast the life out of your mates in the paintball arena and then have them eating your dust on the indoor karting track.

Paintball:
Pull on your combat fatigues and prepare for battle at this superb woodland paintball site. Reenact scenes from all of your favourite war films as you fight your way around manmade and artificial game zones.

You will be fully kitted out with overalls, guns, mask, goggles, hopper and air cylinder before being split into your teams. Games last between 10 and 30 minutes depending on skill or pure luck, so even if you get hit you won't be out of action for long. All games are professionally refereed to insure player safety and fair play.

The Circuit:
This twisty outdoor 500m track is challenging in both the wet and dry and with a 7 metre width there is loads of room for overtaking. Channel 5's car programme "Fifth Gear" recently raced a Ferrari 360 round this circuit, so that should give you some indication of its quality. The entire race is recorded by the latest in electronic lap timing technology.

The Karts:
The karts comprise of a brand new fleet of 270cc Honda powered BIZ EVO 2 karts which deliver impressive acceleration and can give top speeds of more than 50mph. Disk brakes ensure precise and effective braking. All of the karts are maintained to a high standard by a team of engineers.

Race Format:
The event starts off with a briefing on safety instruction and kart familiarisation, followed by a circuit walk. You will then recieve several practice laps each to get you up to scratch with the karts and the course before the real race begins. For the actual race you will be split into teams, with each team sharing a kart and being in charge of pit stops and driver changeovers. The idea of the race is for your team to complete as many laps as possible in the allotted time span (pretty similar to the Le Mans 24 hour race). Each driver will get approximately half an hour behind the wheel in addition to their practice laps. The winners of the race get to bask in their glory in true traditional style with a podium position and a bottle of bubbly to spray over their pedestrian cohorts.

Duration:
- Allow approximately 2-3 hours for this event, depending on group size.

Notes:
For groups of 12 people or less (Min 6) a sprint race can be arranged. There is a choice between 50 laps, 75 laps or 100 laps. Please ask for details.

The 450m circuit features tight hairpins, a 150ft flyover and speedy straights- nail the high-speed corners and you'll be odds-on for a quick lap, get it wrong and you'll have a time that would embarrass your grandmother. Can you post a new lap record?

Le Mans Race Format:
The race is conducted in a one hour and forty minute non-stop endurance format in the style of Le Mans. This is not an exclusive event, you will be split into teams (normally around four or five). The team that completes the most laps at the end of the session is the winner, while those coming in last can expect to be slated for the rest of the weekend. It's all about strategy, pit stops and teamwork.

The team that complete the most laps within the time limit will be victorious. - This event really is an endurance test and groups need to know that it will involve a lot of driving – for the serious karter/adrenalin junkie.
