Overview
Treat your group to a fantastic, action packed day of activities that they will remember long after the wedding is over. Mix and matching your activities means everyone has the chance of glory, including you and the stag!

So, you’ll not only have a much greater chance of becoming a champion but it will also keep you out of the pub that little bit longer, meaning the lightweights of the group are still on board for the evening’s festivities.
Combine any two of the activities on offer, all at the one site.

Format

Choose from any two of the following:

Quad Biking:
This is no leisurely trek through the woodlands - this is a 550m sports track with cambered bends to rag your quad around!
The quads are hefty 125cc Yamaha Breezes which are a step up from the ones on offer at most activity centres. After being given a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the quads under the watchful eyes of the instructors, you'll be taken on an obstacle filled safari along the challenging half mile course which features tight hairpins, tabletops and more bumps than an acne-ridden teenager's face.

Rage Buggies:
With a 620cc engine and lightweight chassis, the buggies are capable of reaching a blistering 50mph in under 6 seconds. There are no gears to worry about so you can concentrate on hitting the racing line. The specially built course incorporates slaloms, chicanes and hairpins which will challenge even the most competent of drivers, so go hell for leather and push the karts to their eye-watering limit.

Each competitor will have plenty of practise laps to get to grips with the kart. There will be two karts on the track at one time, with a staggered start so that you have plenty of clear track ahead of you. Finally you will race in a pursuit, with the fastest times of the session going through to a final.

Archery:
Try your hand at what was once the most feared weapon of warfare in the world. You'll have a full session of guided tuition, along with ample chance to let loose on the targets.
With our expert instructors, you'll be touching bull every time, in no time.

Blind Land Rover driving:
You may have been blind drunk before but you're unlikely to have been blind in charge of a Land Rover. You'll be behind the wheel of a rugged 4x4, doing your best to avoid a series of challenging obstacles whilst trying to decipher the instruction given by your back-seat driving friends.

If you find driving around town in a Fiat Panda tricky, prepare for a rough ride. Just remember: if your mates start screaming it's probably time to slam on the brakes.

SuperCats:
With unique handlebar steering, these 6 wheel drive ex-military vehicles are like tanks with minds of their own. Once you've mastered the controls, all you have to do is point and drive. SuperCats are capable of driving virtually anywhere - rivers, roads, 45 degree inclines. You name it, it can handle it. Used by the British Military in harsh climates to transport supplies and traverse extreme terrain, these are great fun to play with.

Clay Pigeon Shooting:
Clay pigeon shooting used to be associated with posh old duffers in tweed jackets, but you don't need a Land Rover and a plummy voice to enjoy a session on the shooting range. This is a brilliant activity to get your competitive juices flowing, so expect lots of banter and plenty of sledging as everyone vies to be their group's 'Top Gun'.

Under the instruction of expert marksmen you'll be pumped full of top tips and shown how to handle the 12 bore shotgun. Clays will be fired from several different traps, ranging from the simple which will sit up and beg to be shot, through to more demanding which will speed off at a rate of knots.

By the end of the session hopefully you should be nailing the clays more often than not.

Crossbow Shooting
If all that drinking the night before has sapped your energy and you're just too damn lazy to feel the strain of bow and arrows on your exhausted pint lifting arm, then crossbows are the option for you. Crossbows are basically guns with arrows instead of bullets. With a draw force far in excess of what can be achieved with a regular bow, you'll get the satisfaction of seeing that target well and truly nailed.

Hovercrafting:
Fancy going head to head and battling for alpha male supremacy with one of your fiercest group rivals? We have just the vehicles for you: hovercrafts. Racing head to head around a slalom course with 360 turns, two 50 foot water straights (providing there's enough water to fill these in the heights of summer!) and thrills a plenty, these amphibious vehicles will sort out which of the guys just talk a lot of air pressure and who floats above the rest.

Included:
- Two 1 Hour sessions of your choice. Obviously drive times will differ depending on group size.

Duration:
- Please allow at least 3 hours for this activity.

- You may be split into groups for each activity, depending on your group size.

Overview:
Ever fancied getting your hands on a shotgun, setting your sights down the shiny double-barrel and scratching that itchy trigger finger of yours?
The very sociable set up of the shoot means that there will be plenty of opportunity to comment, critique and even applaud your fellow competitors attempts, so it’s a particularly superb activity for drawing together groups where not everyone knows each other that well. By the end of the shoot, they’ll all be bonding down the pub over their sharp-eyed skills, or indeed lack of them, for those who are firing blanks

Clays is also a great leveller, so it’s perfect for groups where some are not the most active. 

Format:
You'll begin with five clays on a single incoming trap, the easiest, and then progress to crossing single, straight up and pairs.

Included:

All the equipment and tuition is included along with 25 clays per person.

Duration:
Allow approximately 2 hours for this event - (Obviously this varies according to your group size!)

Notes:
20-Bore shotguns can be requested (These produce much less recoil - perfect if anyone is worried about bruised shoulders)

Allow approximately 2.5 hours for this event - (Obviously this varies according to your group size!)

Notes:
Please note that you are unable to shoot on a Sunday, due to Noise restrictions.

Overview:
Enjoy the best in country pursuits: career over the rolling hills on a powerful quad before testing your aim with a loaded shotgun. Bang bang.

Quad Biking:
If you like your activities rough and ready then quad biking will be right up your muddy track. You'll experience the rugged terrain of the Bristol countryside on the back of a powerful quad bike which will test your riding skills to the limit.

The session will begin with a qualified instructor taking you through an obstacle course to get you acquainted with the bike. Everyone will be kitted out with helmets and upper body armour before taking on the course, which consists of slalom poles, a see-saw, reversing bays and other skill tests. Once everyone is confident on the bikes you'll head out with the instructor on a challenging woodland trek on a specially designed off road course.

Up to 5 riders can set out on the 250cc quads at any one time, and everyone will get at least 30 minutes driving time.

Clay Pigeon Shooting:
Experience clay pigeon shooting at one of the top championship shooting grounds in the country. Bring your best Barbour jacket out of retirement and test your aim with a 12 bore shotgun.

The instructors take pride in introducing novices to this entertaining sport, with the aim of making you a top marksman by the end of the session - well, at least blasting the odd clay!

Ever fancied getting your hands on a shotgun, setting your sights down the shiny double-barrel and scratching that itchy trigger finger of yours? Yes? We thought so! What better way to satisfy the urge than blasting a clay pigeon to smithereens, catching a victorious waft of the smoking barrels and reloading to unleash more destruction on yet another unsuspecting ceramic projectile.

The shooting ground is the oldest in Somerset and one of the oldest in the country. The ground has recently been awarded 'Premier Status' by the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association and is the only Premier range in Somerset.

There is a new, comfortable and impressive heated log cabin imported from the USA and the new shooting lodge also offers a small accessories shop, hot meals, freshly ground coffee and homemade cakes.

Experienced instructors will demonstrate to your group how to use a shotgun safely and accurately. The clay pigeon traps are positioned to accommodate all levels of experience and simulate a variety of specific games.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy the Cheddar valley country air and smoke a few clays, by the end of the session hopefully you should be nailing the clays more often than not... You'll have a blast!

Under the tuition of experienced archers, you'll be let loose with a light but powerful long bow and hopefully by the end of the session you'll be piercing the bull's eye with regularity.

Overview:

If, like many other people on this green Earth, you've harboured a secret hate for small projectile discs made of clay, and you hope to wreak terror upon said projectiles through the use of a double-barrelled shotgun - then believe it or not, you're in luck! 

You'll head to a state of the art Clay target centre, just outside of Cardiff city centre, which provides training facilities for Olympic shooting teams, as well as Great British champions - the centre has been awarded 'Premier Plus' status, due to it's fantastic facilities.

There are six covered layouts, which will give you the chance to shoot several types of target from the comfort of the shelters, away from the harsh blast of the Welsh elements. The centre uses promatic traps, as well as Progetti electronic systems with acoustic clay release - this means live scores are transmitted straight into the clubhouse - no pretending not to count your mate's scores for an unfair advantage! The scoreboard will be there for all to see!

You'll have an induction from a qualified instructor, who will supervise your session, and, with a few helpful tips, will be helping you dish out some leaded destruction on the clays, rather than firing wildly into the welsh countryside!
