Overview:
Saddle up and enjoy a horseback ride over the picturesque hills of the Cotswolds. If you shudder at the thought of having a big animal between your legs there's no need to get nervous as the horses are a placid bunch, fully trained and experienced with novice riders.
When you arrive at the stables you'll be kitted out, paired up with a horse and put into a group. Groups will be decided by rider experience, giving inexperienced riders a chance to get to grips with the basics whilst the other group set off at a more challenging pace.
The trek is based around some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. The stables are based beneath the Cotswold escarpment and the trail winds up through private land, woodland, parkland and bridle paths giving breathtaking views of the Severn Vale and Cotswold Hills. There's even a pub halfway along the route where you can enjoy a drink and rest your aching limbs.
