Overview
There's nothing quite like a bit of head-to-head rivalry with your mates. They say that nice guys come last, so the question is: do you have the competitive instinct and controlled aggression needed to finish first? Or are you happy to look down the tailpipe of your pal as he passes the chequered flag? No one wants that on their record for future pub banter.
 
Forget about speed limits and points on your licence, put your foot to the floor and burn rubber around the one of the city's  great karting tracks. Karting was made for large groups and whether you are racing individually or in teams everyone’s eyes will be on the leader board to see who’s on top.

The new 450m circuit features tight hairpins, a double underpass and speedy straights- nail the high-speed corners and you'll be odds-on for a quick lap, get it wrong and you'll have a time that would embarrass your grandmother. Can you post a new lap record?

So suit up, strap in, grab the wheel and unleash the speed demon inside!

Format
Le Mans Race Format:
The race is conducted in a 75 minute non-stop endurance format in the style of Le Mans. You will be split into teams of 3 or 4. The team that completes the most laps at the end of the session is the winner, while those coming in last can expect to be slated for the rest of the weekend. There are usually 8 karts on the track at any one time. Endurance racing allows teams to choose how long each driver spends on the circuit. It's all about strategy, pit stops and teamwork.

Alternative Race Format:
On the rare occasions that there are not enough drivers to run the Le Mans Race you will have exclusive use of the track. The alternative race will be a 'Mini Grand Prix' - this replacement format will not compromise your driving time. You will be alerted in advance if this is the case.

Duration
- Event last 2.5 hours with briefing
- At least 30 mins racing time per driver

- Each member of the group will have to purchase a balaclava on site for £3.50

Start Your Engines!
Get the lads' competitive spirits fired-up by hitting this awesome outdoor karting track and determining once and for all who's the fastest on the tarmac. The site features a heated indoor viewing area with a monitor displaying lap times - perfect for when the weather gets chilly.

The Track:
The 420m outdoor track features chicanes, treacherous hairpin turns, sharp bends and long straights.

The Karts:
Ballsy Biz Karts featuring 200cc engines. The karts can hit speeds of 40mph, which is pretty swift when you consider your arse is only a few inches from the ground!

Enduro 1 Race Format:
Groups are given a quick briefing and are decked out in overalls and helmets before the race begins.
You'll be split in to teams of 3-4 and the event will run as follows:

- 15 minutes qualifing session
- 1 hour Endurance race

The winning team will be the kart that does the most laps, including driver changes. The triumphant winners will receive a bottle of bubbly and a trophy - so expect plenty of smugness and bragging!

Duration:
Approximately 2 hours.

- The site has a basic snack bar selling hot/cold drinks and food. (Please have plenty of loose change with you.)
- A grand prix format is also available for an extra fee. Please ask.
- Please arrive at the site at least 30 minutes before your start time.

Overview:
Enjoy the best of speed and lasers with an indoor karting and virtual warfare combo. You can have your friends eating tarmac at the karting track before getting kitted up like Luke Skywalker and proving your worth as a dead eye marksman in the laser war arena.

Indoor Karting: 
Experience the thrill of high end pro-karts at the largest indoor track in the country. With karts capable of reaching 55mph, you won't have built up such a head of speed indoors since the illegal raves of the late 80s.

The Track:
At 750 metres in length, this is one of the largest indoor tracks in the country, and is longer than many of the outdoor ‘pro race' circuits. The track is laid with pure asphalt (almost all other indoor tracks are concrete), which provides an extremely grippy surface, enabling high speed cornering without spin-off.

Endurance Race Format:
Split into team of 2 (1 hour race) or 4 (2 hour race) you will contest a flat out endurance race which gets the most out of the karts and tests out your teamwork abilities as well. Up to 14 karts will be on the track at any one time, so there is plenty of overtaking and fast paced action. Good pit stops for fuel and driver changes are crucial.

The Karts:
The 200cc Racing Zip Karts are equipped with Bridgestone tyres and lightweight racing-chassis which is where it gets its extra kick from. Each kart is tuned each week to ensure they all go the same speed, we cannot however be accountable for the gravitational effects on acceleration owing to how many beers you have consumed in the preceding months.

Virtual Warfare:
Virtual warfare-paintball for the Star Wars generation. Paint pellets and mud is a bit last century, so why not load your laser gun and blast your mates back in time with a lethal beam of light.

Forget the rubbishy quasar laser games that you've played in a disused warehouse off your local high street, this is real high-tech combat which takes inspiration from computer games like Call of Duty and Medal of Honour.

The Equipment:
You'll be armed with a laser gun, combat suit, specialist headgear, knee pads and team armbands. The guns have a range of over 150m which means that concealment and camouflage is crucial. When you lose your last 'hit point' (life) your gun is immobilised and you have to return to base and recharge. Unlike paintball, which is often ruined as a competition because of cheats refusing to returning to base once they've been hit, there's no hiding place.

Combat Zones and Games:
The two excellent combat zones, cover 11,000 square feet of space. 'The Bunker' and 'The Square' boast an infirmary, power rooms, communications sections and a bunk room. You'll play several game scenarios including 'Arrive and die', 'Shoot 'em up', 'Battle bunker' and 'Urban assault', so you'll have plenty of places to hide and pick off your opponents.

Notes:
Changing facilities and a bar and restaurant are available on site so you can have a shower and some food if you feel sweaty and hungry after battle.
