Overview:
Forget everything you have learnt on your driving test, if you like it fast and furious, you'll absolutely love rally driving.
This experience will improve your ability to handle any road and weather conditions, as well as improving your overall driving skills. The ex-competition rally cars are prepared to give you the maximum thrill with power, grip and a challenging but safe drive.
You will have the thrill of thrashing either a rally-spec, MK2 RS200 Escort or a RWD Ford Focus around two specially built tarmac & gravel rally stages.
Format:
After the group sign on they are introduced to the instructors who will be taking them for their event. The instructors will then give the group a briefing on the safety aspects and handling of the cars and a few tips on how to get the best out of their experience.
The group will then be split into 2 teams, each sharing a car and an instructor. When the briefing is finished they will be taken down to the rally track and the first of each team starts the first stage. The instructor will have an assessment sheet where he will give you marks for several different aspects in your driving, but its not a test, its purpose is really to use in the de-briefing at the end and for the driver to take home.
Each person takes their turn until all the stages are finished. The de-briefing follows, where the instructor will give a light hearted explanation on how each driver performed.
Included:
Briefing on technical and safety aspects and car handling
Two stages in the rear wheel drive rally cars, either the awesome new RWD Ford Focus or MKII Escort RS2000.
